January 13, 2009 at 7:17 am #792448bsmartMemberOK, for those that have attended before, can you please answer this strange question:
I can probably come for 4-5 nights max, with commitments at either end (and some awesome 16 hr flights from New Zealand ea way) so can’t come for the whole week.
Would you say it’s better to come on the last 4-5 or the 1st 4-5?
Is there like ‘networking’ mixer events where we can introduce ourselves, meet people etc or is it pretty much just a free-for-all, nothing really planned?
I’m picking the last 4-5 would be better, but maybe there are events planned for the 1st few days to get everyone ‘talking’?
CAP Spring break virgin here, please be gentle.

Personally I would pick the 1st set of days because most of the others will tend to do that as well. There are mixers and events for networking. How fun to be a virgin again No worries everyone in this industry are very friendly and outgoing you will have a pack of igaming peps to hang with in no time.

I fiqured your meetings at London would help get some of this finalized. There was a lot of chat and a number of programs have showed interest in sponsoring some activities and things – One program is also bringing his 100ft yacht down which should be fun!
The thing is with SpringBreak is that there isn’t strcitly a schedule as teh whole event is about hanging out and having fun whilst doing a little bit of business (no conference) – What I think will happen is some programs will sponsor some activities and party or two and then we can arrange ourselves around that i.e start arranging our own fun and meet up points which should be easy as everything is free. An example of this is when a whole bunch of affiliates in the Bahamas arranged a trip out on a boat to go snorkling with the sharks!
We will begin to close off some of the programs over the next few weeks and will have some details v soon

I’d best lose some meat off me otherwise I may make some decent chum for the sharks!
