Guys we are trying to make all the arrangements for the CAP Spring Break in May 2006. I was chatting with Warren and he suggested I ask everyone where they wanted to hold the break. For the last three years we have always had it in Miami Beach, but Im not adverse to other tropical locales.
We decided to ask you guys what you thought of these places.
Please take a moment to vote and you are also welcome to leave comments/suggestions below.

New here…. but thought I’d add my vote.. I am in Florida at least once every 2 months, and hopefully moving there this June..

December 9, 2005 at 4:47 pm #678231AnonymousInactiveI am just hoping to make it anywhere warm. Living in Canada during winter is almost un-bearable. Today its’ -20 cel. Plus it would give me a good opportunity to meet everyone. greek39
December 9, 2005 at 4:48 pm #678232AnonymousInactiveHey Everyone,
I agree will Islandmann that South Beach is the ticket. When will CAP Springbreak be scheduled?December 9, 2005 at 4:52 pm #678234vladcizsolMemberAllan its right after GIGSE again. This reduces travel for our South African and Australian friends who can just pop down after Montreal.
Its May 19th through the 23rd this time around.

Sounds great to me. I like May better than I did June. The weather was much better then.:capmiami:

It will be great to see everyone again!
December 12, 2005 at 3:00 pm #678398AnonymousInactiveI know most people are wanting to be beach-bound, but I just wanted to toss out another idea…
How about New Orleans? The touristy bits of town is rapidly getting back to normal (should be fully operational long before May) and they’re really hurting to get the visitors back into town. I’m just thinking this may be a great way to pitch in a small bit to help the city.
Of course, I’m happy to go just about anywhere, provided there are plenty of fun people and an un-ending supply of booze. :shots:
December 12, 2005 at 3:41 pm #678402vladcizsolMemberIts probably best to wait at least another year for New Orleans GG.
My neighbors have family down here from there and they say the area is still a terrible mess and dangerous. There is a LOT of immigrant labor in town doing clean up, the police department is demoralized (they just fired 60 officers last week) and by all accounts The Big Easy Aint Easy.
Its a damn shame too as I loved New Orleans in the past and would have been very happy to consider an event there.
