I am almost set to go, have flights and Visa done. Just hotel and conference registration left. I can’t wait to flush the toilets there!!!
It wont be as exciting as everyone makes out – our toilets dont have half as much water in them as yours do, so its kinda hard to see it swirling the other way (which is why i’m assuming you can’t wait to flush it… well i hope thats the reason)
October 28, 2008 at 11:23 pm #784453ClubContMemberI’ll just fill the hotel trash can with water to further enhance the effect. I CAN’T WAIT!!!

You just need to the US embassy and get the special ‘homesick’ device that makes the water spin the right way for you!

Also, Paul Hogan’s Aussie tourism ad from way back (click here to see it) – I just realised this is why you guys think we say ‘Put another shrimp on the barbie’
Actually, realised in this video he is actually saying the word shrimp coz thats what you guys call what we call prawns – we dont call them shrimp. Here are a couple more that Paul Hogan did – i reckon they should bring these beauties back.

MUhahahahahhahahah :devil:I’ve had my run ins with your “critters” over here. Why, just two nights ago I found out a possum lives in a trashcan in our complex about 10m from my front door. Now, when I go out for a cigarette at night, he sits there and watches me. Of course, I’m not sure how dangerous these things are, but I’m not taking chances, so it evolves into this nightly staring contest.
Also, for your viewing pleasure, I present to you the queensland bird eating spiders…eating a bird!

photo_gallery/photo_gallery_ popup.php?category_id=3825& offset=0 You can pretty much guarantee that if it looks cuddly it will attack you.. Koala, Wombat, Kangaroo etc.
Possums are bad. They will scratch your eyes out.. as long as you dont go near them though, you will be fine. Let him stare you down.. If he starts running for you just stand still and close your eyes.October 31, 2008 at 3:11 am #784900StarBucksSportsMemberRenee;183892 wrote:If he starts running for you just stand still and close your eyes.FAT F*CKING CHANCE.

Swimming at Bondi Beach – Bondi Rescue – warning… some nudity (but pretty harmless… its not what you would call porn), and this was broadcast on Australian TV in prime time…
