Announced as “Best Union ever” and “The Best Casino Affiliate Program”, I looked forward to a sucessful relationship with Starpartner as I had one with Vegas Partner before.
After a few weeks running, I´m unfortunatly not able to find out anything good about the new program:
– They combined the different brands, so if you have a positive balance at one brand and a negative balance at another brand, they will deduct the negative from the positive balance. This will cause huge decreases of our commisions.
– The minimum payout for neteller was increased to the doubled amount, so small affiliates are not able to recieve monthly payments any longer. Maybe Starpartner does not know that smaller affiliates have to pay hosting fees for their sites too…and sometimes during dry months they are in need of every payment, even it is only 25 bucks.
– A lot of the marketing material disappeared..like mailers and reviews.
– The stats are very poor now, no information about the players anymore. I´ve also heard from several affiliates that the stats still do not work correct.
So please, can someone tell me anything good about the new program? Maybe I have overseen something. Your opinions please.
June 19, 2008 at 12:56 pm #770549AnonymousInactiveI’ve given up. They told me they’ve merged my accounts but despite me asking more than once for details, they’ve not come back to me with anything other than ‘looking into it’.
June 19, 2008 at 2:06 pm #770554playlivebingoMemberHi FictionNet,
An email was sent off your blueyonder mail address confriming that
you account merger had been completed. We have resent it.June 19, 2008 at 2:16 pm #770556biggygMemberWe dealt on small scale with golden star but because of the feedbacks we see from other cap members we have pulled all golden star brands and giving more consideration to Brightshare in our future developments.
June 19, 2008 at 7:44 pm #770584LucretiaMemberI am not ding well with the new starpartner can not be a good sign.
lacking player information or other useful stats options do not help either.
Still there are mistakes in the redirects for slotsroyale casino players can choose for sun vegas ……. and ……….rivernile
Mmiami paradise’s free play link is still working in stead of redirecting to a different casino.
I think i have to look for other places to promote, I give up.
June 19, 2008 at 8:10 pm #770586AnonymousInactivei have to agree with the fact that the launch of starpartner.com is very poor. very little testing was done prior to its release and i don’t see what was the hurry. as a result there are a lot of unhappy campers (affiliates that is).
besides the basic problem of getting links to work, i don’t understand where all the content vanished to? that is really poor. cant you get someone to just copy paste banners in your admin area for a few days to migrate the variety of banners from goldenstar to starpartner?
also, all these problems should be publicly acknowledged otherwise affiliates are left thinking that nobody cares and their problem isnt getting resolved. furthermore, people who read these posts may quickly reach a conclusion not in favour of star partners.
it would be good for staff @ starpartner to get their shit together and resolve these issues asap. it really is unacceptable for a company as big as “starpartner” to have such basic project implementation issues.
i think you guys should chat to Brightshare staff to find out how they managed to upgrade their stats functions without any glitches!
June 19, 2008 at 8:22 pm #770588LucretiaMemberThey should hire somebody to do it right this time.
Just so illogical : super casino brands with the worst affiliate program and management.
You guys could rock if only you had the right affiliate program!

were having. The play was not being recorded properly and we barred

We have acknowledged the prevailing issues that are present in
StarPartner publically, I would hate to think that any posts made
here in response to questions from affiliates on the forum aren’t public.Every mail or phone call that comes in is addressed and expidited for
resolution, granted some matters will take longer to resolve than others
but they being addressed. We have a log file and incident report that
our development team work through to ensure that all issues are
addressed in timely manner. All of the content that was carried over from GSN and VPL into
StarPartner was done through a banner migration exercise. This involved
everyone in the marketing division english and foreign language going
those the vast number of banners availavle and taking out only those
that were relevant, this means only current banners would be mirgrated
into StarPartner. The just wasn’t any sense in taking old and out dated
banners across. We are still in the process of updating the site, where in the next week
or so directdownload link and text links features will be avialable. The mobile banners will be added before the weekend.
Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the process that was involved
with regards to implementation. What I can tell you is that we run the site
in a test enviroment for more than a month and everything worked
perfectly, we encountered inssues when we moved onto the live server.June 20, 2008 at 9:40 am #770635LucretiaMemberOriginally Posted by Inspiration

I was not my intention to detain people from signing up at Starpartner with my thread, actually I think it is a program with huge potential…however I think they need to improve a lot.
Vegaspartner was a great program, my favourite one, and I don´t like the changes that have been made.
Never change a winning team!

Same here, do not like the new one the old one was far better!.
Why the change?
Are the negatives bundeled, it was not before VP and GSN were seperate programs?
