While processing the January payments a check for your earnings was issued but, unfortunately for the incorrect amount, this check has already been cancelled and a new payment has been issued. If received please do not attempt to cash the first check.
You should receive your correct payment within the next two days.

It has been deposited into my bank account on the 8th!
You are responsible for any and all charges that my bank account will be charged as well as any charges that my car insurance check written against this will incure!My bank WILL charge me $35 for a check I deposited that you did a stop payment on!
Since I also wrote a check for my car insurance it will NOT clear once that check is reversed so the bank will charge me and additional $35 for writing a check for insufficient funds!
My insurance company will charge me for sending them a check written on insufficient funds with will be and additional $35!
This fiasco will cost me $105, plus I have to wait for the money you are sending me as well as now come up with the money to cover my car insurance.
These charges should be YOUR responsibility!
This was not handled correctly!
There are better ways to fix the overage, I wouldnt have minded working that out but to cancel the checks that you KNEW would be deposited by now is insanity and unprofessional not to mention the fact that it makes your company look sooooo bad and untrusting!How could I ever trust any payments you ever send me again!

if they paid you over the amount due, it could have simply been deducted from next month’s payment instead of causing all this trouble. it would be different if they’d contacted you in time to prevent the obvious trouble it has caused.

The charges can just add up so high due to their incompetance and disregard to affiliates.

That would have been the HONORABLE thing to do and that would have reinforced my trust for them.
Well I just went nuts making phone calls to borrow $500 cash to put into my checking account to avoid my car insurance from being canceled. But that still wont stop my bank from charging me for a stopped check. I was embarrased having to do this but I it will save me the additional heartache.
I still expect Fortune Lounge to pay the charges my bank will charge me on the canceled check.
If they don’t do the Honorable thing by accepting the responsibilty of what they have caused I can’t see how I can trust them any longer. It will be a very difficult thing. I know now I can never trust a payment from them. Must I hang on to payments for a month or more from them just to make sure they dont cancel them again?
Now why did I not question the over payment?
Simple! They had us select a non US currency, I chose CAD so I thought my check would be in CAD. When I got the check it was in USD ok I then figured it must have been a currency conversion from CAD to USD. It was less than $100 difference to what my stats showed which I believed was shown in CAD.

Thank goodness I just deposited the check yesterday so I can transfer funds to cover it, but I’m still not happy that they would cancel a mailed check instead of deducting the amount from next months pay.
The difference is less than $100 so I did not notice the overpayment. I usually wait until the end of the month to balance my books.
I was surprised to see them issue a check in US funds after saying that that option was not availiable to US affiliates.
