    Despite the opposition here, if CA cannot legalize online gambling, then no state in the U.S. will. They are running a 19 BB deficit, and desperately need any and all types of solutions to stymie their budget woes.

    This really seems crazy, doesn’t it? Both New Jersey and California are SO close to doing this — it would make so much sense for either of them, and they have the legislation all set and ready to do — and yet, I just can’t imagine it actually happening.

    For the record, a lot of state media is supporting the plan. Here’s a good editorial from the Monterey Herald:

    Then there is any possibilities to legalize online gambling in the US then. Hope this could be surpass since online gambling is also a big help in the economy.
