Just an FYI that Bewinners the affiliate program for Bwin has been formally suspended as a sponsoring partner at the GPWA.
When asked several times to please provide affiliates with the old affiliate terms and condtions on the forum, the head of affiliates for Bwin had this to say
“after discussing internally we will not give the old T&C to your community.”

November 12, 2010 at 1:19 pm #813267AnonymousInactiveBasically Michael and Warren both had been negotiating to restore the old T&C, or at least not make them retroactive.
Bwin decided they don’t need to uphold contracts made with affiliates and ended negotiations.
Warren is currently travelling and will likely make a statement when he is back.
November 12, 2010 at 6:21 pm #813273AnonymousInactiveCasinomeister also has moved them into the not accredited section, as well as the “no can do” section.
It appears they also refuse to communicate regarding any player issues.

November 19, 2010 at 6:47 pm #813380AnonymousInactiveAs Dom indicated, I have been traveling since the beginning of this month with limited internet access due to my schedule, hence it was difficult for me to post a reply on this matter.
The only reason why bwin has NOT yet been removed from CAP is due to a commitment that was made to me in Budapest by one of the senior management (who will rename nameless for the time being) to supply with certain documentation which I would then review with some influential affiliates in the industry to work towards a reasonable compromise, which would alleviate their internal “pressures” while at the same time not damage their affiliate relationships.
I have yet to receive this documentation.
Therefore, we e-mailed bwin with a final demand and now a call has been scheduled to discuss the items requested during our meeting in Budapest.
Under no circumstances am I expecting the said documentation to change our outlook (or the rest of the community’s outlook, for that matter) on the recent bwin changes, but having more knowledge of the situation and the rationale behind such a “dangerous” decision on their part will likely lead to a compromise that everyone can live with.
If anyone has questions about CAP’s position on the bwin matter, please feel free to contact me directly via e-mail.

Lastly, it is my goal to establish a page on CAP that outlines our views on what we will allow or not allow when it comes to programs which are allowed a presence here. I don’t expect this to happen right away but it is on our radar and something we wish to properly assess.
Thank you,
WarrenNovember 19, 2010 at 11:01 pm #813384kathrynMemberI would to like to commend all websites such as Casino Affiliate Programs, Gambling Portal Webmasters Association , Gambling Affiliates Union , Affiliate Guard Dog , and all others who are taking on firm stand on these matters.
Furthermore, I would like to thank all members who help contribute to these stands. I notice throughout the web that there is a small handful of affiliates, players, webmasters and/or moderators on forums who are carrying much of the burden of bringing the attention forth in such matters. If you are one of the “idles” reading this, I just want to say, that “your help is much needed.” While this thread in particular applies to Bwin, we know there are other programs out there that have done, or are deciding to follow suit.
If one gets away with it, and we turn a blind eye, others will follow. It’s a trend that needs to be stopped. We need to all be in this together. Speak your mind. Post it. I know (as I was one myself) that there are many of you out there that just like to read forums and not contribute as I have done for years. I look back now and realize there’s a lot of things I could have said in the past that might of made a difference or at the very could have inspired someone else to make a change.
Please take the time out and speak your mind. We need EVERYONE to take the time out and speak our minds, otherwise there will be a time were it may be too late for us to speak at all.
Have a nice day, and thanks for taking the time out to read this.

LOL, it’s the affiliates who helped them get to the point to sponsor Real Madrid.
Maybe it’s time affiliates stand up and take it away from them. Now that would be a message sent like no other.

And IMO unresponsiveness needs to be high on the list of no-nos.
November 21, 2010 at 1:05 pm #813407turbooddsMemberThank you Warren for explaining CAPS position!! Appreciate mate. Could you give us a deadline possibly when you would consider them unresponsive enough to be removed as a CAP sponsor?
The reason i ask is they areRogued at AGD
Rogued ad GAU
Suspended at GPWA
Poker Affiliate Listings is in support of this cause
Casino Meister has them on NO Can Do List
Many webmasters have them blacklisted as Predatory
APCW listed a video about them — (afraid to post link here – search Youtube)
Belosers.com was set up!
Many press releases were done with cross linking to affect their SERPS.The goal is to fully have them removed from participating as Sponsors or Exhibitors at any Conferences such as DUBLIN (LAC- they already have a contract). We need full support from all parties including CAP to put this to a vote to EXCLUDE them!! We need CAPS support! More importantly we need your support! Your an industry leader with followers! CAP can put a significant dent in the Serps as well and provide a stern warning to them enough is enough.
That they are predatory, non transparent and are not affiliate friendly and are seriously hurting the industry. If you can let us know what CAPS position is I would rather hear it publicly then from an email mate, and thanks for everything for all your doing to help the affiliates!!
Much appreciated Warren and CAP!
