It seems like problems are getting bigger for some Playtech affiliate programs and casinos.
I’m still awaiting payment of my January, Febuary, March and soon April commission from the affiliate program BetRev (for Giant Vegas, Sierra Star and Royal Dice). I believe that I have been more that patient, but enough is enough!
I have heard all sorts of bad excuses and runarounds. First they had Neteller problems, but offered an immediate bank transfer. After several weeks they prefered to transfer through moneybookers instead, but for some reason they can’t fund their Moneybookers account (Hmmm – because they have no money perhaps??)
Added to stories about vaccations and mergers etc., I feel obliged to warn everybody.
D.. it’s frustrating wasting so much time getting paid what you’re owed…
Is anybody else having problems? I hear stories about Giant Vegas not playing completely by the book too. I’m affraid the only right thing to do is completely blacklisting Betrev and their casinos until they find out how to treat affiliates and players!
April 29, 2007 at 10:05 am #735215AnonymousInactiveI can add to this warning. Do not promote BetRev – you will not get paid and will not receive a valid reason why.
April 30, 2007 at 12:45 pm #735302vladcizsolMemberBetRev has a new affiliate manager who hopefully will put things back in order. I think they have been going through some major changes and this is whats caused the problems.

Also, “Major changes” are often an excuse used to cover up “financial problems”.
Anyway, “Major changes” shouldn’t be an excuse for not paying ones affiliates for several months. I don’t think any player or employee would except this excuse for months’ of payment delays.
That’s why I’m warning all players and affiliates that’s something is wrong with this company and their casinos. Stay away until we know what the “major changes” are all about.
According to the feedback I have already received from other affiliates and players there are problems. And with the shady history of Giant Vegas they are surely on my blacklist until they choose to pay what they owe!
I would appeciate any help I could get? Any advice?
April 30, 2007 at 5:18 pm #735336vladcizsolMemberWhat help would you like? Blacklisting them or working out payments?
April 30, 2007 at 5:28 pm #735339AnonymousInactivePersonally I would like to get paid. But if non-payment is a general problem, I’m expecting something is wrong and not only the affiliate program, but also the casinos should be blacklisted.
I have chosen to blacklist both Betrev and Giant Vegas, Sierra Star and Royal Dice until they decide to get their financial issues straightened out.
Thanks for your replies by the way. These are the first casinos that I have been affiliated with that I have felt needed to be blacklisted, so it’s not something I do everyday and certainly not something I enjoy! But after many years in the business, my sixth sense seems to be pretty good.
April 30, 2007 at 11:52 pm #735384vladcizsolMemberThey were in the midst of being purchased and changing management. I am told that the new changes should be in place and announced shortly.
The new manager also said that all affiliate payments would be brought up to date
Quote:This affiliate along with any other affiliate who has issues with payments will be paid asap.May 1, 2007 at 5:06 am #735391stevejMemberThat would be good. I hope they get it together, because I promoted them and have money earned but also never got paid.
I hope too that its AUTOMATIC and no affiliate has to go asking for the money.
that would be great!

Thanks Professor and the rest of you who has helped me out! It’s nice to know that there are people who will help you if you’re in trouble. Also, it seems like there could be light at the end of the tunnel. I’ll update once payment is made as promised!
May 2, 2007 at 9:26 am #735481AnonymousInactiveGuys,
This group in question is in the process of getting bought over and the new management will take over in a few weeks time. I am working as the marketing consultant to the new group and I am keen on resolving all issues including payments to affiliates.
Thanks and ton Lou for your help on this matter.
pjotter, you must have got your money in your account by now. There are a couple of other affiliates who have the same issue. This will be taken care off by the end of this week.
If there are any other affiliates who haven’t received their payments by 15th of May 2007 or have any other issues, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
Cheers,
