I got an email on 12th Dec from Bet365 that they suspended my account because I didn’t reply to an email they sent me on 5th Oct. I believe I’ve been a bet365 affiliate for 10+ years. We are not making hundres of thousand from them, but we are making tens, so not an insignificant account…

Anyway, I double-checked and we did NOT recieve an email from them on 5th Oct (in which they supposedly asked us to accept their new policy). And even if we did, I find it a very unrespectful way of treating affiliates that when they don’t reply to one single email they suspend the account!

So I replied back on 12th Dec that we accept the policy and send them our two main sites when they asked for our domains.

Then on the 20th Dec I got another email saying they are terminating our agreement and that I need to accept this to get paid in the future and remove them by 5th Jan from all my sites. So I told them we accept this (what else can I do…) and we are actually working on removing them from our websites.

However, my issue is that my account still seems to be suspended and I can’t login to at least save the past data from there. I don’t think this is acceptable. I do have until 5th Jan to remove them and until then we are under the same agreement as previously I believe.

They didn’t provide any explanation why they are closing our account. We never did anything against any policy to my knowledge. Theirs or others. We only use whiter than white hat SEO and we only do SEO, no Facebook, no emails, nothing, so I simply don’t get it.

It is true that I haven’t worked on the sites for years. I have a new business, I am bored of the affiliate industry and am trying to sell all the sites and get out of it to concentrate on the new ventures. But still, this is really really annoying the way they are treating us. I’m pretty sure once I sell the sites the new owner will bring them back up where they used to be – 50k+ visitors per month that is. And bet365 was a good fit for our sites so I am really sorry to see the way they are treating us. Forcing policy changes down our throat and terminating a 10+ year cooperation just like that.

Right now I just would like to get access to our account to get the data out. Probably not too much to ask…

I am not a Bet365 affiliate, so I can not help you directly. However, I do participate in all of the gambling affiliate forums that I am aware of, and I can tell you this… I have seen a TON OF COMPLAINTS about Bet365 lately. Account closures, t&c changes, fake clicks, all sorts of bull****. There is a dedicated thread at GPWA to sell Bet365 accounts now it’s gotten so bad!

    Good luck.
