Today, a fellow affiliate received the following email:
Dear xxxx,
At this time the payment for your Affiliate account “xxxx” has been placed on hold. According to our records the account is showing a low volume of traffic, and as per our Terms and Conditions we ask that you contact your Affiliate Manager to further discuss the status of your account. If you are not sure who your Affiliate Manager is, please contact our support Team via email at bcpresponse.com
Regards,
xxxx
Accounting AdministratorIs this a joke?
September 10, 2008 at 1:59 am #778231AnonymousInactiveThere are two more threads about this and I am about sick of hearing it.
They basically want you to contact them. If you don’t, they forfeit your earnings. If you do they try to sell you on more exposure.
I am about ready to pull them. I HATE strong arm tactics. It hasn’t affected me yet, but that doesn’t matter. This is no way of doing business.
It’s blackmail.
September 10, 2008 at 2:07 am #778232AnonymousInactiveGot exactly the same, this has to be a sick joke or a huge mistake. I have over 5k on hold and had a huge increase in my traffic last month. I also have several downloads and one registration this month. The funny thing is I got an e-mail from the account manager saying they were happy with the traffic, and then the accounting department comes along and sends this crap!!
In an industry where you are dead if you break trust, they are certainly on very dangerous ground. I hope to have this sorted out tomorrow before noon.

Dom, they contacted me last month for more exposure, so that can’t be the reason. I am hoping is a huge mistake (screwup) and that its a case of Peter having no idea what Paul is doing.

i sure hope so. i’ve actually been in contact with my casino blasters affiliate manager for the last month (last email from him was yesterday) trying to figure out on a way to improve conversions. he also happens to be my aff. manager for BCP and he hasn’t been mentioning anything like the email I received today from their accounting dept.
on second thought, maybe they are just having problems issuing payments this month and came up with a BS excuse to delay everyone’s payment?
either way, its a dirty game they are choosing to play here…
September 10, 2008 at 2:17 am #778236AnonymousInactiveMy payment was over 10 days late last month as well, just really hope they are not having financial problems.
September 10, 2008 at 7:13 am #778241AnonymousInactiveI received the same blackmail email few weeks ago. BCP are screewing affiliates.
September 10, 2008 at 7:55 am #778246AnonymousInactiveI got the email today.
September 10, 2008 at 8:05 am #778248AnonymousInactiveDo what i did . I replied angry and said this is not a way to do business. I can brign a big volume of players, but NO ONE will force me to do enything.
September 10, 2008 at 8:12 am #778249AnonymousInactiveMy answer…
You cannot be serious!
The first time the payment is something reasonable you pull a stunt like this? Not very motivating for anybody.
A “Congrats – you made some money.. hope you can do more” would probably have been more affective.Kevin
Basically, now they have a day to answer me and say sorry and send me my money or all their casinos get pulled and that will be that.
I have not checked their T&C’s – but even if they have that clause, they could have at least sent the money then kindly reminded me of the terms.. That would have been friendlier and more professional.
September 10, 2008 at 12:36 pm #778266AnonymousInactiveI got the email yesterday too – they are holding back more then USD 5K made in august.
This must be a mistake ….
September 10, 2008 at 1:07 pm #778272AnonymousInactiveGot the email too.
This is my only decent earnings with them. They hard to convert…sent them lots of wasted clicks over the past two years.September 10, 2008 at 1:44 pm #778281AnonymousInactive@Jan 175675 wrote:
