If you are the webmaster of http://www.bestcasinolist.com please remove my content asap .

Found full copied content in second paragraph of the mainpage.

BTW : Do not rely on copyscape completely, most duplicate content did not dhow up in the results, I copied a few lines and let google search for it and found it.

Defending your site with copyscape banners does not scare them, what else can i use to prevent my site being copied again?

    Thanks for the heads up!

What an asshole!! I had a look and he has done it a tad differently in that he has copied reviews, but has not linked to the casinos that he copied.. he only links through banners to .. dare I say it.. playtech casinos.
Casino King, Casino Las Vegas, Swiss Casino, Magic Box Casino .. seeing a trend here?

I sent Gary an email.. will also be chatting to Hemant in a bit .. will se what we can come up with and try and get this sorted asap.

Man.. I hate these f**kers!!!!! :madat:

Can’t do anthing except make it harder.
disable the drag & drop so the text can’t be highlighted

    for IE:

for FF and NS add this css line ( I only tested this briefly)

For all Images disable the image toolbar in IE 6.x – I believe the image toolbar has been either removed or disabled by default in IE 7.x – I don’t remember.

    For all images on page

    For individual images –
add GALLERYIMG=”no” to the image tag

However, the best way is to watermark images.

Thanks a lot for such useful post!

Sorry to hear that, Ispiration. Contact all AffClub and Euro Partners and ask them to close his account. Recently the same situation was with me, and the problem was solved in 20 minutes, when I contacted all affiliate programs which worked with that site and asked them to ban his account. After that an owner of this site contacted me and apologized for his worker.

we are also victims of TrafficLabel

it seems, none of their content is original on all of their sites.

http://casinos-web.com/ has a lot of our content published. Will contact Roxy and Affclub.

this is one of their webmasters:

i think trafficlabel owns a lot of sites with copied content you could be their next victim!

these are one of their sites too xhttp://www.ie96.com and xhttp://www.freewebsiteratings.com (copies content for their ppc programs, WATCH OUT they are earning traffic through your content!!)

you can not find the duplicates wih copyscape most of the time because some the texts are rephrased or transposed in a foreign language.

I contacted affclub via email but did not get a response yet.

I will post new updates asap.

    Thanks for all the help!

Thanks to Hemant (Partygaming/Affclub), Tim (Wagershare), Lloyd & Marcia (Brightshare) and Jordan (Prime Partners) who have all already taken action and have contacted the offending affiliates. Have gotten confirmation from them.

    You guys rock!

Let’s hope they listen and remove the content.

So whats stopping rogue affiliates from stealing content word for word?
Obviously its frowned upon but does that little C you put at the bottom of your site actually carry any weight?

    What are your thoughts?

The only thing that can stop them is the fact that people in this industry know each other and help each other and that Affiliate programs react and block payments to any of these rogues..

The more pressure these thieves feel, the less they will want to do it.

Dom has an army for this purpose with lots of excellent lawyers holding AK-47 I think :P

    :shooter:

But seriously, Peralis is right, the more publicity these kind of copycats get, the better. There could be one who tries this, but I don’t think after getting caught he will continue. I don’t think you can do any preventive thing about it, whatever you try they will damage your SE listings (=they damage your business) with the copy, and everything you can do is happening after the theft.

It’s a difficult fight, but together as a community (affiliates and the affiliate programs) you can achieve more :)

Thanks for the aff managers for their quick reaction :wavey:
