If you’re looking for the ancient Battle of Thermopylae where King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army, you’ve come to the wrong place.

If you’re looking for a brand new Battle of the forums where members of CAP and GPWA will spin till the end, you are at the right place.

THIS battle will go down in history!

Battle plan… there will be 2 slot tournaments, which only registered players will see, which allows you to a chance to play both slots currently in the tournament build, namely Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider.

Each tournament will be 5 minutes with 5000 credits to spin!

Not happy with your score, want to push on for one last killing stroke? All entrants will be allowed one additional FREE “buy-in” PER TOURNAMENT – this will give you an additional 1000 credits and 2 minutes to deliver that final blow to your rival forum!

    The Battle begins…
    Date: Thursday, 20 September 2007
    Time: 5pm/17h00 – USA (EDT/gmt-4)
    Time: 10pm/22h00 – UK (gmt+1)

Each Forum will be looking for 75 Warriors to fly their colors in war – join now to ensure your place in the 150 player strong Battle Of the Forums!

Each warrior with the most points in each of the two tournaments will be the Overlord for that specific slot and will each take home $1,000 cash!

There will be prizes for the remainder of the top 20 in each tournament… so don’t take it easy on your opponents; “to the victor goes the spoils”… so fight hard! See my next post for the Prize Roster!

To support your forum in this battle you need to:

    • Download the River Belle software, click here
    • Register a real money account
    • Go to the Slots Tournament link and create an Alias
    • Email your Alias, Account Number and Forum to [email protected] & [email protected]
    • All warriors to have registered by 17 September 2007! No exceptions!

IMPORTANT: If you live in one of the “hot” states please register with CALIFORNIA as your state. Our risk team will allow it to pass until 1 October at which point the account will be closed.

I never played in a tournament before – I am going to the tournaments link and under slots there is “sit and go” and “scheduled”. I’m assuming its under the scheduled link, but in there are several games. Which one is it?

Just register for any of the free ones so you can create your alias. The tourneys for this event aren’t posted yet.

Hey there ByeByeBaby if you register the account as being in California then I will get it tagged as safe by our Risk team and you can use it to play in the tournament :D

Please note that you’re based in the Netherlands when you email us your details so I know its your account.

It should get flagged but it shouldn’t block you outright?

Can anyone from Netherlands confirm a block on download -using the link supplied in the first posts?

The battle takes place Thursday, September 20th, at 9pm Greenwich Mean Time, or

    11pm Central European Summer Time
    10pm Western European Summer Time
    5:30pm Newfoundland Daylight Time
    5pm Eastern Daylight Time
    4pm Central Daylight Time
    3pm Mountain Daylight Time
    2pm Pacific Daylight Time
    1pm Alaska Daylight Time
    noon Hawaii-Aleutian Daylight Time
    11am Whiskey Time Zone

If you’re not sure what time zone you are in, just get up at 11am and drink whiskey until the tournament begins. That way if you have to wait a long time you won’t care anyway.
