The lingo = Hola (Hi), Cervesa (beer), Tequila (ummm), Sangria (Yummy), Por Favor (Please), Gracias (Thanks).
In fact the above can be made in one sentence such as:
Hola, cervesa, tequila y sangria por favor, gracias.
You crack me up Carlo! :roflmao:

August 30, 2007 at 4:38 pm #747383AnonymousInactiveI haven’t had this dilema before but … is it possible for my girlfriend to attend even though she is not an affiliate? I wouldn’t want to leave her alone in Barcelona while I’m having a ball playing poker and getting free drinks! (if I qualify for the poker of course)

This isn’t a problem – Register her on the CAP Euro site and make a note in the comments section that she is your better half.
There is a few people bringing their girlfirends/wives so maybe we should make a special corner for them to moan about how much time their partners spend on their laptop
August 30, 2007 at 4:45 pm #747385AnonymousInactivebring her along, my wife keeps asking me if she’ll have someone to go sightseeing with.
September 9, 2007 at 8:35 pm #748248AnonymousInactiveI was in Barcelona this weekend for a wedding and the weather was beautiful – lots of sangria in a bar on the beach and plenty of blue skies and sun….hopefully the sun will still be there in a few weeks!
Oh and I timed my taxi as it went past the Hesperia and it took about 7 minutes to the Ramblers and about another couple of minutes to the beach. Haven’t tried the metro yet though.
July 16, 2008 at 2:20 pm #772895hendrikMemberThis is my first time to Barcelona and am really looking forward to it.
Really enjoyed CAP London earlier this year. :satisfied
July 16, 2008 at 2:41 pm #772897DanmanMemberThe bet365 crew will be there. Was fantastic last year and we’re hoping there’s a match on at the Camp Nou so we can treat some US affiliates to REAL football, as well as those that appreciate it already!
Alternatively, we may also be heading to WWE Raw which happens to be in town that week… I know how Yanks are suckers for Lycra! Give me a shout via pm a) if you’re an affiliate and b) if you’re keen on either and we may well put a comp together, or MAYBE just take you along for the hell of it.
Plus, we’ll be at the conference and no doubt the parties :hattip:
