InactiveHe is not stupid he knows better to pm any of us Lou, but some how they are getting a list of emails and sending them out to the affiliates that visit CAP. I agree with Dom and Simmo go with the spam complaints against them and that should be good enough, hell we can even start a thread where everyone can post if they were spammed by them and I bet that will reach 10pages in a few days easy of complainers.

MemberI sent him a courtesy notice this morning that we would be closing his forum and pulling B4Playings banners. I also asked Warren to return his domain. I am still not 100% happy about whats happened here, but for the peace of the community I am doing it.

I am not really either, because of the contract issue.
But I think it’s for the better of the casino affiliate industry in general, and ultimately players, not just the community.
We dropped the hot potato… beats waiting until it has turned into a bomb.

InactiveGood catch Dom
Now that’s just wrong software installed on your computer just to be an affiliate? :nono: Possibly malicious?

GuestActually that pretty much is what’s happening. Not our best moment, but we might as well see it for what it is. On the other hand the world is better without witches so lets gather the wood…
Guys I need concrete so the rest of the village is satisfied we did the right thing . Saying we think there are skeletons in the closet is one thing, we need the bones. Show me the bones!
The financial backers are Israeli. Itay has a piece, Laurent has a piece, the lead programmer has a piece, I am pretty sure its our old friend Ziv. I am certain they got seed money from CPays, Euro Partners, 888, Party and a few others.
I think the names enough are reason. nuff said!

InactiveI had problems with the software too. The program added itself to my task manager area at the bottom of my screen (without my permission), and then I wasn’t able to “close” the program via the task manager. Normally you can right click on an icon, click “close” or “exit,” and it goes away. Not so with B4. It stood its ground; it was determined to have a permanent space between StatsRemote and MSN messenger. (LOL)
After I uninstalled it a short while later, I had to reboot the computer to make the icon in the task manager disappear.

Something is not right about all those issues and those of you that installed that crap are brave I would not touch it for nothing! I would be doing a hijack this run I bet your letting all kinds of fun little things in your system now

MemberI wouldnt install any software on my PC to be able to work with a program. This whole thing is creepy even if there isnt anything malicious going on.
I spoke to Itay at length on the phone and like most Israeli’s he was quick to point things out in terms of our legal expsoure if we damaged his business. I told him we would ease the transition off of CAP and do everything we could to not damage him.
Here’s the game plan:
1. I am disabling their banners.
2. I am deactivating their listing as being certified.
3. I am moving their forum from the certified partners area to the guest forum area.
4. After CAP Barcelona we will phase out the guest forum too. Please help me by not having any public boot parties for B4Playing at CAP. If you just have to beat the shit out them please do it at GPWA or Casinomeister or elsewhere. I dont want CAP to get sued for doing what our members want.

That goes to show even more that one doesn’t want to touch this thing with a ten foot pole.
Threatening to sue…Not sure what the law here is, message boards tend to practice free speech. I agree though, no point in risking CAP over this.
Phasing them out is fine.

MemberFree speech as a concept is all good and well. But if a company proves your action or speech has damaged their business they can win a judegment against you.
If the language you use publicly demonstrates an intent to harm their position in the market they certainly can sue you and guess what, even if they ultimately dont prevail it can cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees to defend yourself.
If you DONT defend yourself a judgement can and most likely will be rendered that could cause you to forfeit your property or assets. Legal action is NOT a joke. A cavalier attitude can break you, just ask Calvin Ayre.
My recommendation to you guys as friends is to be VERY careful about what you say. Israelis are even more litigious then amercian companies and once they start waving around the “you are damaging my business” threat it is often a precursor a lawsuit. I went through this before with another Israeli and it can escalate quickly.
No one wants to be a legal guinea pig and test case law or freedom of speach on their own dime. Remember in America we talk about free speach, but our laws, our courts and our government dont protect it.

InactiveI like the idea of them just going away nice and quiet, otherwise if we post and bring up stuff it is just going to give them the attention they want. Rather it be good or negative, attention is all they want at this point to market the product.

Guestthreats of any kind are proof of who/ what you are dealing with. a place of integrity doesn’t make these kinds of threats.
make your point. if its valid….. it will sell. if they must resort to threats …. think of what they’re also capable of?
Itay …. you’re less than i expected. I’ll probably pay for this with some kind of retaliation….. but so be it. you’ll only prove my point.
if you are really all that and a bag of chips …..in the long run your program will prove itself.
