Ok guys I discussed this with Warren, Natalie and Greg and they think Itay is too much of a distraction. We are killing ourselves to get CAP 2.0 done and online before Barcelona and this daily headache with the Itay controversy is not worth what he brings to the table. I have to stay focused on CAP 2.0, not dodge Itay bombs.
Problem is I need VALID reasons to remove his forum at CAP and transfer back his domain and content. You guys want him out, help me to figure out what makes sense to do that.
Unfortunately I dont see a bunch of concrete reasons, but hopefully I am just missing something.
1. We dont like CPA model (no good too many programs offer CPA and in some cases it does make sense (poker for instance if room offers rakeback))
2. Itay was a black hatter – Maybe this angle works, but we need more substance.
3. We think B4Playing will encourage blackhat activities – I think THIS is the out. We need to find ONE or more blackhatters using B4Playing. Can anyone produce a blackhat site that is scraping that is running B4Playing offers on their pages?
4. B4Playing offers $50 while collecting $200 – This is silly as a reason. most if not all Media buyers do the same thing and there is really nothing wrong with it. If YOU can buy something at $50 and resell it at $200 more power to you, thats what businesses do.
Ok guys the discussion is open/ How do we proceed?
September 9, 2007 at 3:32 pm #748215AnonymousInactiveWe had a witch hunt in private and burned him at the stake? JK!
Well you can also add that the backers of this program are very suspect and then the fact that they hired in someone who had no problem for over a year hiding his true identy from the affiliates he worked with. There is something just not right about Harvey/Jason and the fact he use to work for IOG, this whole thing is playtech backed and it stinks for sure, we have no idea who the real backers of this is and I bet we never will unless they are brought down some way or another.
I say lets all dig and find what dirt we can and toss them out the door!!
Another thing I never seen so many spamming issues until they came around here either, just could be me being paranoid but seems to be many programs are spamming as of late.

I think the formulation is that you received too many complaints about B4, and count out the types of complaints, including the above.
Yep, some dirt digging would definitely be useful.
September 9, 2007 at 4:40 pm #748224AnonymousInactiveI agree that some digging into Itay’s background, Jason/Harvey’s background, and whomever is shelling out the cash for development of this tool.
Why would a program hide behind this outfit unless there WAS something to hide?

Not our best moment, but we might as well see it for what it is. On the other hand the world is better without witches so lets gather the wood…
Guys I need concrete so the rest of the village is satisfied we did the right thing . Saying we think there are skeletons in the closet is one thing, we need the bones. Show me the bones!
The financial backers are Israeli. Itay has a piece, Laurent has a piece, the lead programmer has a piece, I am pretty sure its our old friend Ziv. I am certain they got seed money from CPays, Euro Partners, 888, Party and a few others.
September 9, 2007 at 5:46 pm #748232AnonymousInactiveDon’t forget the numerous complaints by webmasters about b4 spamming message boards, including casinomeister, who booted them.
Searching google brings up things like this: xhttp://www.expertsflu.com/feed/
The keyword is “make money online casino” and is treated like a normal sentence all through the article. This article xhttp://onduleura.wordpress.com/2007/07/20/paradise-poker-by-itay-paz/ has links throughout to this site for whatever reason: xhttp://iisoni.50webs.org/ as well as this one xhttp://hyunmi.50webs.com/
He hired someone to write a zillion articles xhttp://www.ideamarketers.com/library/profile.cfm?writerid=20822 all of which have his push for b4 in the intro(on a different page), in the body and in the credit.
Another zillion articles here Xhttp://www.getmyarticles.com/articles/Gambling/5/
Searching under his name I came across this xhttp://www.google.com/search?q=+Webmasters+itay+paz&hl=en&safe=off&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7GGIC&pwst=1&start=30&sa=N Didn’t see him there so viewed source – damn golden palace is spammy! Using CR affiliates and all kinds of places in hidden text.
Hmmm, are these the casinos they feature? xhttp://www.smartsubmission.com/seo.php?CatID=24&ArtID=110865
In this article xhttp://www.eastendhosting.com/News.php?CatID=10&ArtID=110765 he links to xhttp://www.sportsbook.com/, xhttp://www.newcasino.com/ and b4.
Ok, time for some relaxation for me. Maybe someone else can do some digging. These sites xhttp://iisoni.50webs.org/ as well as this one xhttp://hyunmi.50webs.com/ are likely the strongest spam connection…
September 9, 2007 at 7:09 pm #748236stevejMemberthey just spammed me again? is that good enough? almost immediately after we had an exchange in the forums? where he did not know what ‘purchased’ meant? did anyone else get the same SPAM or am I being picked on already?

We are very pleased to announce that the B4Playing Multiple CPA Affiliate Program is now live and you can complete your registration and receive login details to your account. To complete your registration go to this URL: http://www.b4playing1.com/b4p.affiliatesite/Signup.aspx
This is the absolutely the last email sent by us to affiliates who pre-registered to the B4Playing affiliate program. If you haven’t registered yourself or been registered by someone else, we apologize and we wish to offer you the same special promotion made for all the pre-registered affiliates.
—I never started registering. I never pre-registered. He is SPAMMING me. Please stop him.
spamming and lying really should be all you need in my eyes. it hurts the community for a moderator to be spamming us and lying to us. until today, I never visted that site nor do I have a relationship with this guy.
September 9, 2007 at 7:21 pm #748238AnonymousInactiveI received a spam email from them about the same time Itay turned up here. Had something to do with my being preregistered for their affiliate program or something like that. I came here to ask who they were.
Then later someone was shilling for them on one of my casino forums.
They’ve also spammed the Wikipedia with at least one offtopic link.
September 9, 2007 at 7:51 pm #748242AnonymousInactiveI got spammed today by them too…

BSSeptember 9, 2007 at 8:44 pm #748249AnonymousInactiveI think the spamming alone is indicative of their BH roots. They will only get worse and we all know it. The website Dom mentioned: 50megs was one of the websites we all noticed a LONG time ago during the time that Ziv was spamming the shit out of everyone.
I think that the spamming should be enough to ban him. He will be pissed, but I am sure he will still find some shills to dole out his crap.
September 9, 2007 at 8:55 pm #748250AnonymousInactiveI did a “link:” search for b4playing.com on Google, and I found the results to be rather odd.
http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.b4playing.com&num=100&hl=en&safe=off&filter=0%5B/CODE%5D
I tried to find links to B4Playing on a few of the pages (even the cached pages), but I was only able to find a couple of visible links (by searching the source code of the pages). It might be that they are cloaking the links so that only Google spiders can see them. I’m not sure.
http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.b4playing.com&num=100&hl=en&safe=off&filter=0
September 9, 2007 at 9:04 pm #748251vladcizsolMemberBernie Itay is not a moderator at CAP. We pulled his Mod status back when we discovered there were probable Blackhat connections.
Is he spamming you guys here at CAP via the PM system or directly via email?
September 9, 2007 at 9:11 pm #748252AnonymousInactiveI got spammed by them twice today.
I think Dom is right: tell them that you have had so many complaints from affiliates that you aren’t comfortable with it and feels it is compromising your position. No witch hunt and its true.
September 9, 2007 at 9:20 pm #748254stevejMember:inlove:sorry bout that professor, i must have been dozzing off again, i have a serious attention deficit disorder. (i forget whole weeks) :3eyes:
to answer the question, I was spammed by email.
September 9, 2007 at 10:09 pm #748255AnonymousInactiveMy spam was via email, and it was particularly deceptive, thanking me for signing up for the prelaunch of their affiliate program. (I never signed up.)
