September 11, 2004 at 2:14 am #654867AnonymousInactivewell in 2 years we’ve moved up 2 brackets….and I remember when I first started over 3 years ago and was in the 1st and 2nd bracket for a while.
So I guess anything is possible…one more bracket up would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!September 15, 2004 at 4:58 am #655048AnonymousInactiveYes I agree – I remember my first year – it totally sucked :rollover:
It appears that I am in the majority anyway, but like everyone else I would love nothing more than to jump up a bracket or two.
Send me an email we can get together in Vegas … Im certain we can come up with something mutually beneficial.
September 15, 2004 at 7:28 pm #655082AnonymousInactiveI think that anyone based on being commited to this business can move up to one of the higher brackets. When I first started a earned $8 my first month, and $40 my second month.

September 15, 2004 at 7:31 pm #655083AnonymousInactiveHey you did good..
I didn’t make anything for several months… LOLSeptember 15, 2004 at 8:05 pm #655086AnonymousInactiveI think it took me three months to earn $60… LOL…
Trust me, it’s hard, hard work. Only this year am I finally in a bracket where I don’t have to worry about paying the bills… but then I took the one portal route. For a single portal I’m not doing too bad.
September 15, 2004 at 8:38 pm #655089AnonymousGuestI’m doing much much better than I dreamed up when I started.
I though it would take over a year to start making a living – and my goal was to earn what I am earning now.Pinch me!
Now, of course, I want more!
September 16, 2004 at 6:33 am #655113AnonymousInactiveI used to be an affiliate manager in another competitive industry. Our program alone had many affiliates above $50k a month, some around $250k…
Now for myself… Talking net here… Probably even at this point, but looking at taking it a bit more seriously and finally doing something with my crappy site in the next couple months.
Any pointers welcome.
September 16, 2004 at 7:47 am #655114AnonymousInactiveJust curious, what industry had affiliates earning 250k a month.
September 16, 2004 at 8:17 am #655115AnonymousInactiveI would have a guess and say p*rn or travel/accomodation.
When this poll started I was under the impression that it was net income only for the gambling industry. Is this right or do you mean our net income in total? I’ll have to change my vote if you mean total.
September 16, 2004 at 11:12 am #655119AnonymousInactiveI used to be an affiliate manager in the travel industry, and Sparrow’s numbers weren’t out of line with what some of the very top producers were earning. Travel’s a huge market. Capturing an actual share of that market is a whole other thing entirely though.
September 16, 2004 at 5:01 pm #655129AnonymousInactiveI was in OP, but my guess is we’d be surprised at what the top earners in a lot of industries make.
I’m working on a travel site at the moment. I’ve heard there’s good money in it, but this one’s more a labor of love…
September 16, 2004 at 6:28 pm #655131AnonymousInactiveI have been around awhile and what most people speak of is net revenue and not net net in the pocket. I have had net revenue over 200,000 but that does not mean net win.
In Porn especially they talk net revenue but there are some that do have net net over $200k per month but they also have 50-100 employees. It is a quality of life and money that most of us enjoy.

Maybe they’re just more likely to post their earnings.I agree with Fergie . . those making the big bucks are more likely to want to boast a bit by responding to the survey. :clapper: “Yeah man, I make $50,000 plus!” :clapper:
Hey, I don’t blame them . . I wish I was in that category!
I’m sure those making substantially less probably figure they’ll wait until their income increases somewhat and post their successes in an upcoming survey. :lookaroun
September 16, 2004 at 7:02 pm #655134AnonymousInactiveI’m shocked that travel can earn so much. The commissions seem pretty low at first glance. OP (pharmacy), adult and casinos would have been my guess for the big money industries.
I’de be interested in finding out. I’m doing well in OP, getting back into casinos, wont touch adult and want some more diversity.
And to ask the question EyesCoffee brought up, is this poll for casinos only or all aff marketing earnings?
