    Casino Webmasters have some needs that I feel are not being properly addressed.

    We want templates!

    We want Free Games to carry on our site.

    1)The requirements for the free games are fairly simple. Flash is the most conducive for us as there is very little if any download time. The games should contain a link that allows the player to follow that would take them to the signup or download page of the respective affiliate companies sponsor. (so we can convert free players to real players)

    2)The games can NOT also contain any outside links to any other properties that is not commissionable.

    3) The games should be fairly easy to add to our sites.

    The reason for Number 2 above is simple. A few months ago I tested a Boss Property that offered free games. The game worked well and was easy to set up.

    HOWEVER, the game console itself carried a link to casino.com that was NOT commissionable….the link was embedded inside of the console and therefore could not be removed without first decompiling and then recompiling the flash. (The game console currently still carries that link)

    Another group offered a single game, but due to some changes in the last few versions of Internet Explorer, now only supports that game as a pop-up and not one embedded in to our web pages. (by the way, this flawed game is still available as website content from that site.)

    In addition, if you run more than one site, it only supported ONE logo to be used unless you create accounts for each site you want the game on.

    Another group offered 9 or 10 games….but recently they appear to possibly be having some major server or database problems as all of my personally created campaigns (AS WELL AS STATS) have completely disappeared…

    Their games seem to still be working, but all of the embedded links (for real play) point to nonexistent pages on their licensee gaming server….and of course the affiliate campaign ids are all history.

    Hmmmm….seems like a restored back-up should have taken care of that.
    ====

    I am interested in hearing from other webmasters as to what if any games they have, as well as how well they feel this type of site content does for their conversions….

    Rick
