August 29, 2006 at 12:56 pm #703825vladcizsolMemberOk cool. Keep us posted.
August 29, 2006 at 3:45 pm #703846AnonymousInactiveit’s 8:37…. I had a mind to get some information:
Hello?
Hi my name is blah blah and I’m a good friend of Steve Briggs. I am trying to locate him after we got this cryptic msg of Steve being in the hospital.
I don’t know where he is.
Do you know the name of the hospital
No
Do you know if he is okay?
Yes. Steve is okCan you tell me what happened, anything?
I dont know what happened.
He is okay though?
Yes
Can you tell me what hospital he is in.
I don’t know. How do you know he okay if you don’t know what hospital he is in?
I’m not talking to you anymore
Listen, there will be others who call behind me. I can stop this from happenign, I can get the word out about what happened and your phone will never ring from us again.
Is he in jail, does he need a lawyer?
You need a lawyer to find your friend? No thats not what I mean, do I need to get an investigator or something to help find him? what?
SHE HANGS UP PHONE

running to coast now… will look at this again soon…
but first thoughts are:
a) they dont like him / bad blood
b) they are under orders from a lawyerc) why wouldnt they just tell us where he is though so we wouldnt call back?? thats the part that makes NO sense.
August 29, 2006 at 3:48 pm #703847vladcizsolMemberYep thats the same eerie reception I got.
Obviously something VERY strange is going on here.
August 29, 2006 at 4:05 pm #703852AnonymousInactiveHoly smokes, this is amazingly strange. Do you think it’s because he’s left instructions behind to not disclose any information for fear of … I don’t know, maybe his involvement in online gambling?
Maybe the mob’s after him and he’s gone underground!
Even so, it can hardly hurt to tell people what happened and how he is doing, and get a message to him that people are concerned about him.
Wierd!!!
Has anybody tried the local hospitals yet?
August 29, 2006 at 4:47 pm #703858AnonymousInactiveDid your numbers go up? Get well soon mate.
August 29, 2006 at 5:31 pm #703865AnonymousInactiveMaybe he is in some kind of rehab and the family doesn’t want it public…
August 29, 2006 at 6:23 pm #703877vladcizsolMemberDom thats what a few of us thought might be the case. The other alternatives are less pleasant to imagine.
August 30, 2006 at 7:58 am #703958AnonymousInactiveI should’ve been a cop, i know what’s going on here, but i’ll respect Steve’s privacy, i will give the details to Professor however and put his mind at ease, don’t feel as though its my place to say what happened, Steve should recover eventually, physically he is fine, but don’t expect to see him here for a while, i’ll get Professor to check this out
August 30, 2006 at 12:00 pm #703968vladcizsolMemberThe good news is Steve appears to be fine. He may have had a minor injury, but nothing serious. The bad news is hes having a tough time with legal problems.

We wish Steve the best of luck through this bumpy period in his life and want to let him know we are pulling for him.
August 30, 2006 at 12:17 pm #703972AnonymousInactiveThat certainly explains the secrecy with his brother.
I hope he pulls through this and eventually makes it back. Good luck Steve.
August 30, 2006 at 1:58 pm #703988AnonymousInactiveShould be careful calling the authorities over to your place if you have slightly dubious items there !! Although if your place in on fire then I guess you have no choice, save the grass at all costs
In any case good luck Steve
August 30, 2006 at 2:13 pm #703991AnonymousInactiveGood luck, Steve.
August 30, 2006 at 2:59 pm #704008AnonymousInactiveWhat on earth is a drug tax stamp?
August 30, 2006 at 3:50 pm #704016AnonymousInactiveGood luck Steve … what a world we live in when a person can’t grow
a plant in the privacy of his house.
info I just found on drug tax stamp … read this baloney, its
illegal BUT you still have to pay tax on it ?
what is this all about ?
:notify:
http://www.ksrevenue.org/perstaxtypesdrug.htmDrug Tax Stamp
The fact that dealing marijuana and controlled substances is illegal does not exempt it from taxation. Therefore drug dealers are required by law to purchase drug tax stamps.
The drug tax is due as soon as the dealer takes possession of the marijuana or controlled substance. Payment of the drug tax will purchase the drug tax stamps. Attach the stamp to the marijuana and/or controlled substance immediately after receiving the substance. The stamps are valid for 3 months. Drugs seized without stamps or having expired stamps may result in criminal or civil penalties which may include fines, seizure of property or liens against real estate.
A dealer is not required to give his/her name or address when purchasing stamps and the Department is prohibited from sharing any information relating to the purchase of drug tax stamps with law enforcement or anyone else.
Purchasing drug tax stamps does not make possession of drugs legal.
