Guys, Get registering if you want to play – I will announce the schedule of games within the week – Here is the official press release:

ASOP at CAP Euro: London is open
Registration for the Affiliate Series of Poker is open

Celebrating it’s 1 year birthday the next Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP) taking place at CAP Euro: London is set to be the biggest yet with more players than ever taking part online to qualify for the main event.

Taking part in the freerolls is free of charge; you just have to be an affiliate registered to attend CAP Euro in London. Try your hand online and you could be one of the lucky 36 affiliates that qualify for the main event; the live finals in London. With a seat on one of the final tables you will have a 1 in 6 chance of winning a share of $20,000 as well as the winner’s gold and diamond ASOP bracelet valued at a further $10,000!!

Commenting on the ASOP Lou Fabiano, founder of CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com said:

“What makes the ASOP great is that it changes the whole dynamic and atmosphere of CAP Euro – It is not uncommon for crowds of 10 deep to be crowded around a table and with an open bar throughout the event plus the Poker Channel filming the tournament it makes for a very exciting and memorable experience.”

Since the first ASOP in London back in January the tournament has rapidly grown in popularity with as many as 100+ affiliates trying to qualify in the freerolls and with the champion that won in Barcelona already having a WSOP final table under his belt the competition is fierce.

To register for the ASOP go to http://www.asop.com but don’t forget you have to be an affiliate and be attending CAP Euro in London otherwise you won’t be approved. For this event the sponsors are Everest Affiliates and AffiliateClub.com who deserve big thanks because it wouldn’t happen without those guys. The freerolls themselves will be taking place on the sponsor’s sites from mid December 07 to mid January 08, with the first one on December 12th on everestpoker.net.

Cool! I was one of the lucky 36 affiliates to play in the Bahamas tourament, but got knocked out while holding three Aces!!!!!!!!! That was such a downer!

I was sitting next to the previous champ and other “pros”! LOL Those guys were aggressive players and the blinds were raised to fast! hehe Being that it was only my 3rd time at a real poker table I was so nervous my palms were sweating like crazy, but it was a lot of fun. I also enjoyed meeting some of the members here in person.

I will give it a shot again this time and see what happens.

    Hi Alex…

I am registered at the ASOP Event Site but have never received a password email. I have been to Everest Poker and seen that there are others already registered, so I guess I need the password sent to me?

    Thank you, kind sir… :santa2:

Guys sorry for lack of response yesterday – We had our Xmas party and as predicted it was pretty big so feeling a little tender today :1circling

    J. Todd – Did you get the password in the end? If not PM or email me and I will send you them for the other events

Well done Owldeath2 on winning it – 59 people is big for the first one, hopefully we will push past the 100 barrier and beyond this time. Anyone else that is in the top 4 can you please email your details so I can confirm your seat at the event.

    Cheers

    Alex

Looking at the schedule at asop.com the qualification should be at Poker Kings today, 12/17/07.
I cannot find a tourney there.
    Is it today?

Right its sorted – You can’t see the tourney until you are registered on the site – so register and then click on the “MULTI TOURNEY” tab and then the “PRIVATE” tab underneath that.

    Good Luck
