    Hi Guys,

Below is an email I just sent to the ASOP player database regarding the free rolls for the next ASOP – If you want to get involved and didn’t get the email sign up on asop.com and I will send you the details

    Hi All,

I am really really excited to announce that the free rolls for the ASOP in Cyprus are open and actually start tomorrow so get your poker face on because we are GO! In advance sorry about the huge email:

Below is the full schedule as well as some details (again) on the ASOP and on the Cyprus event as there are some differences for this one:

    What is The ASOP?

The ASOP (Affiliate Series of Poker) is a series of poker tournaments just for affiliates with huge prizes ranging from $20,000 to seats in the WSOP main event. At present the ASOP takes place three times per year at CAP Euro, CAP SpringBreak and The Poker Conference.

    When is the next ASOP?

The next ASOP will be take place in Cyprus during The Poker Conference (http://www.pokerconference.com) and CAP SpringBreak (http://www.capspringbreak.com) on May 20th – 22nd .

What is changing for this ASOP?

    1. Due to legal restrictions there will not be a cash prize, so the prizes are as follows:

1st Place – Ticket to WSOP Main Event plus official ASOP diamond bracelet
2nd Place – 4 nights accommodation in official CAP Euro Barcelona Hotel
3rd Place – 4 nights accommodation in official CAP Euro Barcelona Hotel
4th Place – 4 nights accommodation in official CAP Euro Barcelona Hotel
5th Place – 4 nights accommodation in official CAP Euro Barcelona Hotel
6th Place – 4 nights accommodation in official CAP Euro Barcelona Hotel

    2. The ASOP will be run as a freeze out with 50+ players this time around

    3. It will be run over three days and hopefully if we get permission we will play the final table on the beach or at least outside by the pool

How do I get to play?

To play in the ASOP you need to qualify in the freerolls – The details and passwords are listed below. The freerolls are played at our sponsor’s sites Everest Affiliates and Affiliate Club so big thanks to them

Oh and sorry before that I have to once again mention:

    1. This part of the ASOP is only for affiliates – If you are not an affiliate there is no point playing because you will not be allowed to play at the main event. Sorry!
    2. Only play if you intend to be at the events in Cyprus because that is where the ASOP event is and you obviously need to be there to play
    3. Make sure you have also registered to attend the Cyprus events- This is different from the ASOP registration and must be done at http://www.event-space.com/capspringbreak/Home.asp
    4. Please don’t forward the passwords on, just get your fellow affiliates to register online at the ASOP site

    Right now the fun bit!

If you are new to the ASOP here is how it works –

    Stage 1 –
Over the next 5 weeks we will be running a series of freeroll poker tournaments at our sponsor sites – 10 in total. In each of these there will be a certain amount of seats available to win for the main event taking place in Cyprus. Details of these freerolls are below. Just to confirm these are completely free to enter.

    Stage 2 –
If you are lucky enough to qualify for the tournament you will have made it to the final list of players that will fight it out in sunny Cyprus on the first and second day of the Poker Conference conference down to 6 people who will then play the final table on the first day of CAP Springbreak. If you do qualify please do email me and let me know as it helps lots with admin

The seat for now. But if you win ASOP and are willing to wear CAP/PAP branded clothing we may be able to work something out for accomodations.

Not true? I see #2 as the 19th and #3 as the 23rd above. Is something happening on the 20th or not?

Hi there – Sorry for the confusion – There are two rooms we are playing at Everest and Poker Kings (AffiliateClub) so there is actually 2 Tournaments twos, and 2 tournament threes etc. If you look above or at the first email I sent you will see the full list. I will also continue to email about each tournament before it begins.

Oh and to everyone please can you not paste the password for any of the tournaments in the forums – Firstly it means I end up with a load of random freeroll whores but more importantly it causes us serious problems legally as we have to ensure the no members of the public have access otherwise the ASOP could be shut down

    Cheers

Ah… for some reason a neurlogist could only figure out, I missed that these were separate deals with the two rooms. I incorrectly assumed they were hitting the same back end.

Sorry about that. I didn’t realize the issues involved there, and edited my post. :)
