One of my WordPress sites is receiving some attention from some mis-guided arseholes with fak-all to do and all day to do it in. Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to still use a user-name of ‘admin’?

there are also some pretty decent security plugins available (wp-security) as highlighted on the forum, definitely look into one of others

Yep, I’m using WordFence and Stealth Login Page plug-ins for the particular site that was being hit.
