People are asking the same questions over at Google Webmaster Forums. But as per usual, the cocky regulars justify Google’s actions and shoot the messengers instead. Given I’ve lost oddles of traffic since Penguin/Panda, I’m wonder if it’s better to look at ways to rank better in Yahoo and Bing, least try to get some traffic back from other SE’s.
Because trying to get back my serps on Google, is both frustrating and turning into a BIG waste of time, especially as I’m competing against index spammers and their cheating ways.

has anyone looked at their GWT index status advanced feature “not selected” number?
In GMT: Heath > Index Status > Advanced Tab
It says: URLs from your site that redirect to other pages or URLs whose contents are substantially similar to other pages.
I believe the google unique content algo has changed in the sense that its no longer unique content as in not duplicated but unique content as in no one else has it.
imo Google is not interested in 2 million copies of the same casino or game review that only differ by writing style.
