I used Gaming, Politics and Education genre choices, perhaps if we add it to all related genre’s from different people and post links here to vote and increase popularity – it will bring it to front of google video page?

Now, the only thing that concerns me is that we have had no action on this from affiliate programs. Just think what more could be accomplished if they would participate in spreading the word with us!

BTW, number of votes keeps growing! When I went to doctor’s appointment we had 3 votes, 10 min ago was 108 and now we were up to 113 and growing by minute! Keep it up, and we WILL spread the word!

Believe it or not, my friends, there are very popular affiliate programs who WILL NOT help us get this message out to players. Why? Because they “…don’t want to get heavy/political with (their) players.” (Notice the quotes?)
Can you believe that crap? I can.
And it’s programs with that kind of backward philosophy that have contributed to this industry going right down the shitter. :rasberry:

The video says the new law makes it a federal crime to play online poker.
NO, it doesn’t! This video will scare away people from playing poker when they see it.
It’s not a crime to play poker.
I put the video on my site before watching it, and then I removed it simply because I don’t want to alarm people. We’ve already seen how professional webmasters panicked and started dumping their sites … I can imagine how players might react.
Is there any way to edit this? I hate to be a party pooper, but I am very concerned about this.

I think the video was designed for that “shock factor” I do agree though that several of the things it states are blatantly false; at the same time considering the shock factor I think it can be an effective tool; but not if we dont get it seen by the masses.
Why do you think the PPA is trying to get “carve-outs” for poker within the bill? Blocking payments is just the tip of the iceberg on this! It’s a slippery-slop… domino affect… whatever analogy you wanna throw out there.
Bottom line is this: Players can’t play online poker for cash, and webmasters lose the revenue they spent years to build.
This video should scare the hell out of players… that way they actually do something other than sit there… which is exactly why our industy is in this mess to begin with!
You should be concerned about this, because Bush will sign it on Friday. And when that happens, remember that you were concerned about “scarring” people when you should be educating them.

Yes it was designed for “shock value’, but no, I don’t agree that anything is “blatantly false”.
Look at political ads… they all twist the perspective to represent their viewpoint. You must fight fire with fire.
