Interesting poker room, I emailed them and got this:
Hi Ellen,
Thank you for your interest in Everest Poker. Everest Poker is powered by
Grand Virtual, Inc. software which has been powering online gaming software
internationally since 1997. They also power Casino Lux, Imperial Casino, and
hundreds of other online casino brands. It is not a skin and is not
associated with any other network. Through my company, Affiliated Web
Attractions, we run the affiliate program for the Internet Casinos & Everest
Poker. We have about 10,000 active international partners worldwide so we
are our own network. We may offer Everest Poker to be skinned at some point
by our partners as we do with the Internet Casinos. The unique thing about
Everest Poker is that it is the ONLY Poker Room offered that is fully
translated into 8 languages with 4 more to release in January and 4 more
after that in the first half of 2005. Their aim is to bring the excitement
of poker to the non-English speaking market to help people who are
uncomfortable with English enjoy and learn poker. In addition, they have
very generous bonus policies. Their $100 welcome bonus does not require a
deposit like most competitors and they pay $50 for every referred friend
even if the friend just registers and doesn’t play for real money.I hope you will consider promoting Everest Poker or one of the other
Affiliated Web Attractions properties. Please do not hesitate to contact me
with additional questions.Best Regards,
Jennifer Miller

They have this freeroll offer that you can play without needing to deposit or even register a card.. I played myself for a while and managed to build up a little bit of cash and this I could then use to play real games with.
Imagine that 99% of the players do this and when the money is gone, the simply restack their accounts at the freerolls.
Other than that.. have not had any problems with them and they seem to be pretty steady.

January 1, 2005 at 10:12 pm #659600AnonymousInactiveThey have this dating site. If you send people there (it’s a free dating site) and your people click on any of the casino ads there and convert you get the account.
I tried this for a bit and sent a bunch of people but none converted to players. So I quit.

Hi,
We do not accept US players for real money play. We also block some former
Soviet Republics due to fraud issues in the past. All other countries are
permitted to play. It looks as though you are located in Australia. Can you
offer it to people in your part of the world, Canada or the UK? Have you
considered adding content that is in other languages. There are very few web
sites and portals targeting poker in foreign languages so there is a ton of
opportunity to get up high on the search engine rankings for these. Please
let me know how I can assist you.Best Regards,
