If Tradal is your “super affiliate” are you not responsible for their actions and/or lack of actions against unethical affiliates who promote your product?
Don’t try and pass the buck there in that manner as the bottom line is that 888 is clearly responsible for their own product. If Tradal is giving the community the impression that 888 permits scraping or unethical practices then by all means 888 should take immediate action against Tradal to save their own face before its too late.
Claiming that you have no control over what your super affiliate does with what amount to your sub affiliates is a crock of BS and it’s not going to fly. From what I have heard something more is going on here, and when the story breaks its going to be the end for those who make excuses instead of taking appropriate actions.
April 11, 2006 at 12:05 am #688452AnonymousInactiveHi Shelly,
This is total bullshit and you know it. My own site has been scraped and you guys need to take the high road and get Tradel their affiliates to stop this unethical behavior now. I would not promote your casino if it was a cold day in hell. A theif is a thief and one that supports a thief is a thief.Total Bullshit
April 11, 2006 at 1:00 am #688454AnonymousInactiveHey captain thank you for responding. I plead Shelly take care of the situation I do not want to go back from where I come from. Take affirmative action, regardless of what the brass say. Do not think 888.com has utter immunity because you don’t nor does Tradel.
So I am faced with some very tough choices here. I am Greek by the way and if you do communicate with any of the Aff people at Tradel, the Cypriot hide out tell them Yasoo greek39 would like to talk. My family fought in that war, to save that Island.greek39
April 11, 2006 at 7:21 am #688459AnonymousInactiveAs I said before in this thread – not only is this a Tradal affiliate, he isn’t even directing to our brands – therefore I DO NOT see 888 accountable for whoever this person is actions. I fail to see why you all refuse to contact them directly.

April 12, 2006 at 4:20 am #688538AnonymousInactiveWhat I have been providing is the bare minimum. I am trying very hard to be diplomatic about the situation. I have mounds of information that I am withholding in the hopes 888.com will come clean of this mess.
I also have mounds of information on tradel as well. I have uncrypted registrant ID’s I have picked apart IP addresses. I am also aware of the the cozy relationship 888.com has with a certain search engine and can prove it.
I don’t do this for my own benefit, personal gain, glory or money, I do it for justice. I believe honest webmasters deserve their share of the pie. I already know what its like to loose everything, it happened to me 5 years ago. I was out duked and !dragged through a trough from a fellow who out witted me.
So I do this for the people who had alot to do with building your company, the affiliate. There is no glory, only hope 888.com
If your response is of negative nature I will post more.
perhaps I may land on that runway27 greek39^*
April 12, 2006 at 5:06 am #688543AnonymousInactiveThis time I agree this is something I need to look into. I will get back to you beginning of next week with my findings.
Thanks

April 12, 2006 at 10:40 am #688558AnonymousInactiveI am following this very closely, Shelley.
It looks very, very bad.
If I was the 888 brass, I would sit at a table with Tradal and discuss how to clean all this up the fastest.
We clearly don’t like being stolen from, and we are not totally helpless here.
Arguments and aggression are not really useful tools for problem solving.
Action is.
We do have huge reach on the search engines…We don’t have to sit here quietly and take it.
Please post what progress you are making in the resolution of this.

April 14, 2006 at 9:41 pm #688763AnonymousInactiveI am patient.
I hope to hear something next week.
April 14, 2006 at 9:57 pm #688764AnonymousInactiveAgreed.
IF things are rotten in the relationship between 888.com -> Tradal -> Scraper then it is going to take Shelly more than 48 hours to get answers. (especially with Easter here)
April 15, 2006 at 12:11 am #688771AnonymousInactiveShelly did say early next week. Easter is very important time of year for almost every culture. For Greeks its bigger than Christmas.
But if the response from Shelly is not favorable I have more hard evidence. I pray and wish 888.com take the moral high ground on this request. greek39
April 17, 2006 at 5:36 am #688896AnonymousInactiveShelly,
I truly believe Greek’s latest find has caught 888.com with their pants down on this issue. As I mentioned in the other thread here on CAP, I would like your thoughts on myself meeting with John Anderson the CEO of Cassava to discuss the many issues we webmasters have. Predominently concerning site scraping affiliates of 888.com and the fact that Tradal and their affiliates are seemingly allowed to do as they please, including stealing of copyrighted material in their pursuit of promoting your brands.
As I am based in Gibraltar and John works out of Europort arranging a meeting would be very easy to do, especially as I live across the road from Cassava’s Offices. Alternatively if you are unable to setup a meeting, I could contact John direct to do so.
April 17, 2006 at 9:30 am #688900AnonymousInactiveGreek, please advise how we can find the listing for online casino. What did you search for on Yahoo?
thanks
