Nicolas is not moderator here, I am.
He can write a letter including the sex life of elephants and the secret life of plants and I will still want to keep one subject per thread.
If you want to write about eCOGRA, you are more than welcome to do so in a seperate thread.
This thread is to bring a solution to the standoff with 888 over blackhat methods in the search engines. It is to encourage them to come here and talk to us. It is all about 888 and blackhat practices.
eCGRA and spyware is a different topic and as such gets a different thread.
June 25, 2006 at 3:31 pm #696682AnonymousInactiveWell it appears Nicolas is not a moderator here, but I do beleive I have the right to repond to his letter. Nicolas clearly states “we have set an example and operate according to ethical principles which are second to none. This is why we particpated in the bold move of setting up E-cogra”.
Dom you can duke the issue and bring up marlarky such as “sex life of elephants and the secret life of plants and I will still want to keep one subject per thread”.
This thread is about 888.com period as per the letter.greek39
June 25, 2006 at 3:46 pm #696684AnonymousInactiveWell, lets let the Professor decide if this thread is about 888 and blackhat practices or eCOGRA and scumware.
Not sure what your problem with a new thread might be.
June 25, 2006 at 3:51 pm #696686AnonymousInactiveWell I’ll give the 888 guy a chance.
But I want to see action, not a lot of talk.
We all know what needs to be done to stop this crap, 888 knows, all they have to do is pull the plug on this little spammy dirtbag and his buddies, very simple, not a lot of talk required. Just a ‘yes, we are pulling the plug.’ or a ‘No, were not pulling the plug.’
(greek39 when you submit those URLs to google be sure to put ‘888 doorways’ in the title, someone told me a google spam fighter might be looking for a title like that.)
June 25, 2006 at 3:55 pm #696687AnonymousInactiveI agree let the professor decide. Please remember this thread was created by greek39. I think I should be allowed a little courtesy. Besides I see lots of threads going off in tangents. greek39

There is lots of ground to cover I want capsters to understand the magintude of the problem. Its’ not just about BH tatics, it involves many different aspects. Bare in mind the links provided are of a small fraction as what is out there. Some honest webmasters here on CAP do not understand the complexity of the situation. Failing to inform them would be a diservice to many who have been victimized. greek39
June 25, 2006 at 4:10 pm #696689AnonymousInactiveAnd I appreciate your contributions about 888 and wish you would stick with that for now because that seems to be coming to a head very rapidly.
June 25, 2006 at 4:17 pm #696690AnonymousInactiveI will wait for the professor’s response. greek39
June 25, 2006 at 4:34 pm #696691AnonymousInactiveIt’s Sunday, he is likely in church and then will do things with the family.
I am outta here shortly too, I have a plane to catch.
My attendance will be spotty over the next few days, but ‘ll be checking in as often as I can.
Be well and hold down the fort!
June 25, 2006 at 4:43 pm #696692AnonymousInactiveI am very aware of the ‘magnitude’ of the problem, as I think most here are.
If 888 is willing to pull the plug, why drag them thru the dirt some more?
The less ‘bad publicity’ the online gambling industry gets the better.
Bad publicity for any part of the online gaming business hurts us all. That is why, in my opinion, this 888 thing is so damaging. 888 is forcing us to expose a dirty side of the business to the gaming public and it ain’t doing any of us any good.
As far as my opinionof ALL these so called professional Orgs in the online casino bizz… Well I ain’t a member of any of them, would not waste my time or money.
Most of these type of problems have been solved in open public forums, like CAP, CM and others, while the ‘Professional Orgs’ take a backseat to the public forums when it comes to solving problems.
just my 2 cents
June 25, 2006 at 4:55 pm #696693AnonymousInactiveGreat post, lotsO!!!
June 25, 2006 at 5:05 pm #696696AnonymousInactivevery nieve post lots0, this sort of idealogy will doing nothing to solve the problem. We are talking about 888.com and its’ dirty side. I know more than you think and I would like to address these issues. With no behind the scenes chatter but in public so all can see. greek39
June 25, 2006 at 5:23 pm #696697AnonymousInactiveIf you have more blackhat info then please post it today so it can get taken care of.
Gotsta go now. See you guys soon.
June 25, 2006 at 5:27 pm #696698AnonymousInactiveDominique go and catch your flight and relax. I will not be adding to this thread until I am permitted to what I have to say. For the BH info I have I will not post until I address everything in the letter received from Nicholas.

Quote:I know more than you think and I would like to address these issues. With no behind the scenes chatter but in public so all can see. greek39I guess I have to ask what you hope to accomplish by this?
Are you going to expose them… I think it’s a little late for that.
Do you want to punish 888 some more?
If you say your going to publicly punish 888 after they have pulled the plug on all this crap, then why should they even consider pulling the plug in the first place?
I know your pissed off at these guys, so am I. 888 and its affiliates have literally stolen thousands from me, but business is business and what your talking about is not good business at least from where I sit.
What I would like to see happen is this guy from 888 show up and say its all over they are pulling the plug on these scumbag spammers and then watch the scraped pages disappear from the search engines and we NEVER have to discuss this issue again. That is what I would really truly like to see.
