Okay professor I am off and will await Shelly’s reply. greek39
April 24, 2006 at 2:45 pm #689802vladcizsolMemberThanks Greek.
Anyone can build a fire and continuosly throw logs on it, but fires arent always the best way to solve problems.
Lets work on a resolution not a bon fire.
April 24, 2006 at 2:52 pm #689804AnonymousInactiveSo far all we have seen are links to affiliate sites of 888.com or/and Tradal. I have not seen one site that is directly linked to Cassava by way of ownership that is actually scraping.
I suggest the Professor’s advice is heeded, or concrete evidence such as screenshots of whois records for domains which scrape and thus owned and registered to 888.com are posted forthwith.
I too have been hasty regarding this issue and on studying many of the links provided, cannot identify a direct line which shows 888.com is actively behind any of these scrapers.
I guess it is time, to put up or shut up as I have wasted too much of my time on this and am more than happy to work alongside 888 to get rid of the scraper sites.

Are you saying now that Cpays is also behind the scraping or allowing it?
I read a lot of rumors about 888 and just read that tradal is a major affiliate, but I never heard about the Cpays-scraping issue.
Cpays looks like a top program to me… so what am I missing?
April 24, 2006 at 3:03 pm #689806AnonymousInactiveYep, this thread is now officially cooled, but I also would like to add that I am most annoyed with Greek’s lack of evidence and the fact that I was willing to waste my time to try to find the evidence you didn’t produce. :fencing:
Sorry Prof, I promise I have said my say.
April 24, 2006 at 3:08 pm #689808vladcizsolMemberThe same affiliates that are scraping promote some of the Cpays properties.
This type of affiliates tend to gravitate to programs that pay a high CPA bounty for new players. That’s why you see them turning up at 888 and Casino Pays and Casino Partners too for that matter. They are seeking the highest CPA payouts and then focusing their promotions on those casinos.
If there is truly a “devil in the wood pile” here that connects all the dots and is causing all the problems it’s ….. drum roll please ……. CPA!
April 24, 2006 at 3:12 pm #689809vladcizsolMemberGuys Greek is outraged by Scraping. As we all should be. He’s trying to strike back at this horrible plague as best he can. I dont hold him responsible for any of this mess. Its the damned affiliate scam artists who are doing the scraping. Its also the very human temptation for programs to “look the other way” when profits are rolling in. This selective blindness is coming to an end now and we are going to get some action, so the kicking and screaming phase helped wake everyone up.
Now it’s time to work together and fix this thing. Let the scrapers focus on porn or pharmaceuticals. Gambling affiliates have had enough of their shit and we are going to put an end to their ruining our industry.

I always appreciate criticism because I learn. If I have failed and lack creditability so be it. I am not not a useful particpate on cap so be it. Therefore, form your own words I will be no longer posting anything. greek39
April 24, 2006 at 3:21 pm #689812vladcizsolMemberGreek calm down. This is a discussion and everyone has an opinion, thats no reason to run home and not play with the other kids at the playground.
Lets keep this focused on the following:
– Business – No personal barbs or pokes
– Finding solutions to the problem
– reporting affiliates by ID who are scraping so that they can be drawn and quartered.April 24, 2006 at 3:23 pm #689814AnonymousInactiveI am still outraged by some 40,000 scraper sites using my work and most of them lead to 888 and I am continuing to pursue this.
I don’t care if 888 is doing it personally or if they pay people to do it. I want it stopped – now.
April 24, 2006 at 3:27 pm #689816AnonymousInactiveI understand Greek. It took allot of my time investigating the claims made by you, and you got respectable people like Webzcas and Dom all excited about this evidence that directly linked Casava to Scraping. You seemed to have been posting evidence with all those long posts and everyone including myself got hooked into believing you knew more on the subject. I was as angry as hell as just last week I was a victim of Google bowling and what have you.
Backing off completely is the right thing to do.
I would like to know though, what measures will be put in place by Casava to ensure that they are responsible for their affiliates actions. Shurely CPA must ruin their ROI! Now that it is convincingly identified as the enemy it should go!
April 24, 2006 at 3:37 pm #689818AnonymousInactiveChatmaster I know more about this stuff than you can ever fathom. Chatmaster decided hop on this thread in its finest hour and claim you were ” willing to waste your time to find the evidence” Well go ahead and find it. Join date September 2004 number of posts 11 wow you have really contributed.
Then you proceed with the arrogance of dragging me through the mud, absurd. I realize I can’t please everyone but you drip with arrogance and conciet. Why don’t you provide the noose for your own linching. Will a grand total of 11 posts that noose is hard to come by.
No more for me this is the lesson I take. I will leave it up to Chatmaster. greek39
April 24, 2006 at 3:39 pm #689820AnonymousInactiveHmmm. FWIW I can vouch for Chatmaster and I also happen to agree with him.
All that has been presented in this thread is just links to scraper sites, with no evidence proving that 888/Cassava are directly behind them.
I am out of this thread.
April 24, 2006 at 3:45 pm #689822vladcizsolMemberGreek thats enough!
Chatmaster you made your point. Lets not have this thread turn into a free for all.
Dom working with the program to remove the profit will solve the problem. Jumping up on a soap box and stamping your feet and screaming wont do anything.
April 24, 2006 at 3:47 pm #689823vladcizsolMemberI am locking this thread until after I eat lunch. I suggest everyone else cool down, have a bowl of soup like me, and lets regroup on this later when we can stay focused and not get into a wrestling matches.
