Hi all,
I don’t know if this has been posted already but yo all who are attending the event on the 30th in Amsterdam, please note that the night of the 29th and the 30th are “Queensnight & day” in Amsterdam. The BIGGEST open air party of the year for Amsterdam & The Dutch.
Usually about 1 mln people come to attend the Queens birthday (well actually the Queens mothers birthday) and the city is a complete madhouse. Also during the 30th you will not be able to take any cabs from the airport to the city center because all traffic in the center is blocked. Better to arrive on the 29th I guess.
The convention center & hotels will be pretty good to reach as they are on the outskirts of the center though. If you have never been Amsterdam on queensday make sure to walk in to town, it’s one of the best parties around!
