Anyone know what the deal is on this? I tried to call them a little while ago and got no answer. All of the links for topcardcasino, merlinsmagic, grandriveria ect… are redirecting to goldencasino. I think playtech is giving the heat to shut down all usa players for ALL casinos.
November 9, 2006 at 1:52 am #715116AnonymousInactiveI went to look and found the same – aff link still showing.

November 9, 2006 at 2:24 am #715118AnonymousInactiveThis is pretty unacceptable. If someone clicks out to Merlin’s Magic, I expect them to land at Merlin’s Magic — not at some casino nobody has heard of. :shooter:
November 9, 2006 at 2:35 am #715119AnonymousInactiveMy 24kt casino link is redirecting to Golden Casino.
November 9, 2006 at 2:41 am #715120stevejMemberThanks for the warning, down they come! I cannot stand not being notified about this kind of thing. I was wondering why my revenue has dropped there. I don’t care if my aff code is intact. I hate misleading my visitors.
Sending them to a casino other than the one on the banner they clicked makes me look unprofessional.
If anyone who knows what is going on sees this I think you should clear it up right away. There are people watching this board right now and making decisions on who to promote in the future based on the way the programs are behaving during this critical period.
If you think US webmasters are not already on the way to share in the European market you are completely mistaken. Affiliates are not illegal.
edited to add: the two programs in this thread have always treated us great, so I wanted to say that. I’m not down on you, just want to be kept up to speed, PLEASE
November 9, 2006 at 3:02 am #715121stevejMemberLagunacat, Flamingo club is also redirecting… we have not been kept up to speed on this… I have started a thread over in the Blastes forum. True we all knew this was coming, but we also were under the impression that we would be kept in the loop. I suggest we abandon this thread an head inside the Blasters forum to get down to the nitty gritty. Lets hope for some quick answers
you may also want to keep an close eye on Mainstreet right now. They are switching, and we are supposed to get an email about it tonight. I still show revenue for Blasters, although Mainstreet and AllStar seemed to die out for me around the very beginning of the month.
my traffic has gone up not down…. so if we feel a big dropout, its the difference our players are feeling between RTG / Playtech i guess…. alll i can say is
OUCH
:nervous:

I emailed them 2 days ago but haven’t received a response. I agree, we should have been updated. Blasters knew we heard the rumors and had concerns, but their spin has been ‘full speed ahead’.November 9, 2006 at 12:38 pm #715123vladcizsolMemberI will call Jeff and Ricardo later this morning for an update. I havent heard anything either.
November 9, 2006 at 12:56 pm #715124AnonymousInactivelooks like only USA traffic is redirected.
November 9, 2006 at 3:06 pm #715125AnonymousInactiveYep I´m outside US and is not redirected.
November 9, 2006 at 3:47 pm #715126AnonymousInactiveNot all of the casinos are redirecting to Golden Casino.
Aspinalls, Grand Online, and Golden Palace still go to the right place. Everything else (including all of the Allstar Affiliate casinos) ends up at Golden Casino. (This happens in the USA only, apparently).
Why do Aspinalls, Grand Online, and Golden Palace still work in the USA?
Additionally — I tried to sign up at Golden Casino last night, and it wouldn’t work.
So, first my visitors are sent to an unexpected landing page, and then (if they bother to stick around), they can’t even play the games.
WTF?

Blasters has placed Golden Casino banner on their sign up page as one of their partners but there is no linking or stats info for this casino.
November 9, 2006 at 4:12 pm #715128vladcizsolMemberOk….
I just got off the phone after a long conversation with Jeff. Unfortunately I dont have a lot to report AT THE MOMENT, but I have Jeff’s commitment that we will recieve full details of what’s changing as soon as humanly possible.Jeff was very limited on what he could say, but he was adamant about the following:
1. Golden Palace and Casino Blasters places the relationship they have with their affiliates as one of their highest core values. They will do nothing to damage that relationship.
2. The changes that are being made are a response to the legislation that was enacted in the US. This was obviously not something they wanted to happen.
3. They are working overtime to ensure that the changes that do take place will provide the best possible solution for players and affiliates. This will allow all of us to move forward together and continue to earn good revenues.
4. There is a new promotion that will be announced shortly that is positively dynamite and should make affiliates VERY happy. Details of this will be released along with complete disclosure of the new program changes.
Jeff stressed that we all know Golden Palace and have worked with them for years. He asks that we give them the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer while these changes take place. He says we will be very happy that we did this and he is confident things will actually be better then they were before.
So lets wait and see…
November 9, 2006 at 7:15 pm #715156stevejMemberI actually edited my post last night because I thought my language was a bit strong and because of all the programs I promote C. Blasters always was a straight shooter. They always pay, the dont make me fax and they are always on time.
All that good stuff above aside, they would have made huge brownie points with us if they had simply said, look guys, here we go in the transition, those who want to change your banners for 48 hours should do it while we make the change. As always we try to keep our affiliates 100% up to date so that you can continue to provide accurate information as always to your visitors.
When an affiliate gets 10k + unique visitors a day and we send them to the wrong place for 48hrs or to a casino that will not allow them to signup, it does effect our users minds about how accurate our sites are and how trustworthy our partners are.
If I have a forum and I post what a stand up group of casinos this is and how they are even going to the lengths of changing software platforms to continue doing business with them, this will encourage visitor signups.
If I send them blindly from a banner that advertises one casino to a completely different location, and when they get there they can’t signup, this is causing BIG credibility problems. They may even been keen enough to start wondering if their browser has been hi-jacked by those nasty casino affiliates using unscroupulous methods of getting biz. I for one dont want to be lumped in that group.
Many of my visitors are getting to blasters.allstar, etc thru links that are listed in lists of casinos that take us players. If they get there and cant signup, why are they going to keep trying my inaccurate list???
If I had 48 hours to try some microgaming casinos, I would have done it. RTG and micro don’t do well for me and I would have very much appreciated the time to test some waters rather than send my traffic to a hole.
