I just tried sending a PM to Maple Leaf (Jason Meller) from Allied Affiliates, and it wouldn’t go through. I also see that the Allied Affiliates forum is no longer viewable without searching for it.

Anything we should be aware of? :tooconfus

Lots of warning signs on this one:

    1. They failed to pay their certification fees at CAP and didnt respond to us for weeks. We left them up in the interim while we tried to reach them. As far as I know they never did get back with Warren or settle their account. This lead to their removal.

    2. They had a paid placement deal with me for my portals. The first month they paid fine. The next month they didnt pay me when they paid others that had a similar deal. I emailed them multiple times without a response. Finally around the middle of the month I got an email back from Rod saying they were having conversion issues and they were dropping the campaign. This was after they got two weeks worth of free exposure! I wasnt a happy camper.

    3. They contacted several affiliates last month right after the new legislation was signed and asked them to remove all links to their casinos as they were concerned about getting too much exposure. Have you ever heard a group say they want LESS exposure?

Very strange goings on with Allied. I am disapointed too as I had a great working relationship with Rod for many years going back to his Casino Coins days. (Jason seemed ok too)

Now that is about the weirdest thing I ever heard!

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the info.

I’ve actually been having negative carryover issues with them since the day I signed up. This month I’m (finally) in the black, but previous months of negative earnings are bringing this month’s earnings down a bit. Not sure why the stats don’t automatically zero this out. AA claims not to carry over negative balances, so this should be accounted for automatically in the stats.

I wrote to Jason today and told him that I wanted to be paid the full amount for November — i.e NOT the November earnings minus the accrued negative earnings from previous months. (Since their program doesn’t carry over negative balances, this is the way it should be — I will settle for nothing less than what is owed to me, under the T&Cs I signed up under.)

He wrote back and said he would “keep that in mind.” :dozing: Hmm, okay, you go ahead and keep that in mind, and I’ll keep your response in mind when I’m updating my list of casinos….

If I’m paid the incorrect amount this time, they’re gone for good. I’ve gone back and forth with him about this over and over and over again, and the problem never seems to get fixed. It is NOT difficult to fix this type of thing; it’s literally one line of code.

The trouble with dropping them, is that I’d need to replace the casino with a different OddsOn casino. I won’t promote VIP Profits’ casinos due to their predatory new T&Cs, and I don’t know how I feel about Golden Casino yet….

Casino Coins is running some very attractive slot competitions that convert very well.

I thought Casino Coins was part of VIP Profits?

Well, Casino Coins had been sold to the same group which acquired VIP and
9am (Leisure and Gaming PLC), but as far as I know they werent included in the VIP Management Group and operated seperately.

Has anyone checked Casino Coins Terms and conditions to see if they modified theirs at the same time VIP and 9am did?

For an affiliate account to be considered “active”, it must have generated new, paying customers for Casino Coins’ sponsors within the previous 90 days.

If an affiliate account does not meet the above requirement, a Casino Coins Personal Account Manager will contact that affiliate and partner with them to develop an action plan to improve performance.

If an affiliate does not agree to an action plan and no longer continues to promote casino coins associated casino properties the affiliate will be deemed inactive and the affiliate the agreement terminated

No idea how long that’s been there.

Well, that sucks. More predatory T&Cs; no lifetime residual income. :(

    That’s what it says.

Due to a long history I only did paid placements with them, so I never bothered to look.

That clause has been there for ages – ever since homeboy took over the management years ago and most of us subsequently dropped Casino Coins…

He’s no longer there, more than a year now I think… but I guess they didn’t check that closely.
