I received the following warning from an affiliate manager over the weekend. This affiliate is a member at CAP and has made 10 posts but generally just lurks. Unfortunately this piece of shit has been asking people to trade EcoCard funds with him so I suspect he may have a scam or hack going there also….

    Hi Lou,

It’s Saturday and I don’t usually work on the weekend, so you know this is quite a big deal. I have a CAP member who has been hacking people’s sites and replacing their aff tags with his own.

    His CAP username is “regviet”

I have blocked him from XXXXXXXXX, but I just thought you should know that there is a snake in the grass.

    Have a great weekend sir.

    Cheers,
    XXXXXXXXXX

He claims to offer links management here: xxxwww.regviet.com

So far it appears hes a lurker at GPWA and Casinomeister. He is also a member of a phishing community so he obviously is interested in stealing peoples banking info too…

That’s a great list AllFreeChips – I think that it should be sent to all affy programs!

I sent each one the links that effect them.. of course they will not relveal any info but they are aware.

from what I was told I did not lose much in the who thing.. FYI I had some old code from phpchat (a chat system for the phpBB2 forum) that this guy used to get access to the entire site including SQL… he took the table with the casino ino, updated it and replaced it in my db.. all pretty slick and if he would have not donw so much I may not have caught it.. My click counters would go down a few hundred clicks here and there and of course it was because i keep click data in the casino table, so when he replaced it they would go back to where they were when he first copied it..
