By opening up an account at ASP is it the same thing as opening up a foreign bank account?

December 20, 2007 at 10:37 pm #757143AnonymousInactiveSorry to hijack a thread…. but since it is answered already and recent, I thought I would ask a question I’ve long been waiting to ask..
What programs does ASP have certified?
At this point it is completely useless and I was hoping to be using it exclusively by this point
December 20, 2007 at 11:40 pm #757155AnonymousInactiveBodog is about to start using it. I sent my account info to my affiliate manager a few days ago. I don’t know if my November commissions will go to my ASP account or not — the check may have already been sent. December commissions should go to ASP next month, though.

December 21, 2007 at 2:19 pm #757181vladcizsolMemberWe have a few programs on board including Bodog, Sporting Bet, Focal Click and Poker Affiliate. Its been a VERY slow process and to be frank I am a little disapointed that more programs arent supporting us.
In the case of Microgaming we have to get their main processor to sign up (Data Cash) then all of the casinos will follow suit. So far they have been elusive.
Playtech should be all over this solution as all the major players have had difficulties paying US and Canadian affiliates. But surprisingly they refuse to try us out. I suspect they arent terribly motivated to pay affiliates and figure we can get just wait to get paid whenever they get it to us. Its a shame.
One thing everyone can do to help is ask the programs they work with to adopt ASP as a payment method. I know many of us have already done this, but we have to keep after them every month until they sign up just to get us to shut up. I am sure once they actually use ASP they will kick themselves for waiting so long.

It’s an idea which was well overdue – and CAP has the reputation and standing to pull this off – eventually.
Like all new things it will take time to establish – but will then snowball – and I’d wager that this time next year you’ll be looking at an outstanding success.

Yes. At the very least, you’ll have to check the checkbox that asks this specific question.
