For the patch go to windows start>help and security>pick a task>windows update. This is the firewall patch will protect against the trojan worm that exploits. Microsoft will be relaesing a new patch once a month from what I am told.

I visited the site again today and its totally changed.greek39

I get automated updates. I guess it’ll find me then.

Theses patches did not auto update on my system for some reason. I went to the security center I clicked check for updates and found the two patches that were not on my computer. These are the ones you need.

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool – January 2006 (KB890830)

Security Update for Windows XP (KB908519)

here a link to the main page from there click learn more info then download

    http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/update/bulletins/200601_WMF.mspx

Or go to start then click help and support center under pick a task click keep your computer up to date with windows update. From there click express and it will scan to see if you already have these updates. If not install.

What is happening is cloaking then scraping. Cloaking is a different version of a web site the cloaked site is a black hatter scraped site. This is done by activex ( active scripting ).

I doubt that he is using activex to do his cloaking. If this were the case, then the googlebot could care less.

Besides, activex is another name for controls which is another name for OLE Controls. OLE allows the embedding of objects within a container (OLE = Object Linking and Embedding). This is a technology which IE allows in it’s browsers which has, in the past (and still on occasion), been expoited. Active scripting is not an accurate name for this as it is a compiled object.

My guess is that Dom is right in that he is forcing cookie creation. There are many reasons to do this, one of which is to make sure that he gets the referral. IE WOULD bark at this.

Thanks. Despite active automatic updates there were two critical updates not installed.
