Guys I hate to say this as they have been a great group over the years and I love their staff, but I received the following info this morning:
Quote:Casino Profit Share, just lost their MGS license about 16 hours ago and went into liquidation. As a result, affiliates are most likely NOT going to get paid and CAP definitely isnt getting paid for their membership either. Please remove CAP Certification immediately. As sad as this is we are forced to remove their certification today and advise affiliates to cease promotion of their brands ASAP.

February 28, 2008 at 10:15 pm #762146CaptainetteMemberIf anyone, player or affiliate, ends up not getting paid due balances by this company, Microgaming AND Ecogra lost TONS of credibility in my book! Especially Ecogra knew what was going on here for days, but did not mention a single word about it in public.
This is a very thrilling scenario for both of these companies, which hopefully will get resolved in an adequate manner.February 29, 2008 at 3:48 am #762170AnonymousInactiveOh wow, that really is a shocker!
I really hope someone else will take up ownership of this group if that is the problem, because, from my point of view both as a player and an affiliate I had very very few, minor problems and no major problems with them ever – their affiliate team were always forward thinking and their promotions at least on par with other groups…
I guess it’s now a game of ‘wait and see’ what happens to everything which I expect will take some time but I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that someone picks up Casino Action from where it left off just a day or so ago ..
Thanks for posting the news Prof, I have quoted your quote only on my site for information to players – I hope thats’ ok.. I would ideally like to know the ‘source’ for this, and any future quotes just to ensure ‘credibility’ of any information being given to players (rather than loads of speculation which I expect would only hurt the overall credibility of our industry)..
IF it really is all over for Casino Profit Share / Casino Action then they will be sorely missed by many I’m sure.
Also, I really think that the priority should be players, not affiliates (as it is, after all, players that spend their money which in turn makes our money), I’ll consider any affiliate monies a bonus.

March 2, 2008 at 7:51 pm #762328AnonymousInactiveAs with everyone else in this community I am shocked with the events that are taking place with the Casino Action Group. I will truly be sorry to see this group disolve and the healthy consistant commission it brought to the table.
March 17, 2008 at 11:07 pm #763498AnonymousInactiveIf MicroGaming pulled their license to operate why are all the casinos still up and running with MG software?
