January 10, 2013 at 8:43 pm #629393Tower – JustinMemberAffActive have implemented a high-roller policy
Terms spidered on December 4th, 2012 12:00 AM
SUMMARY: AffActive have instituted a High-Roller Policy Effective on December 4th. Please check your stats to determine if it is retroactive.
High Roller Policy
xii. In case of high roller players which can cause high fluctuation from month to month. Management explicitly reserves the right to reinstate negative carry-over as determined for specific situations. This is necessitated by monthly volatility. Affiliates will be paid for specific players but negative carry-over will apply.
SUMMARY: This is a High-Roller Negative Carryover policy that appears to be effective for all players. It was implemented December 4th and is likely retroactive (it is not stated in the terms that it will not apply to existing affiliates and player base).January 10, 2013 at 8:53 pm #831458AnonymousInactive@AffiliateGuardDog – Andy 249002 wrote:

January 11, 2013 at 6:19 pm #831474seedingltdMemberWhy should I pay for their withdrawals…I did my job by finding them…it is your job to do the rest. I am happy promoting a brand that has my back, now I am considering restructuring my list since I could potentially pay for my hard work.
January 13, 2013 at 1:49 pm #831494Tower – JustinMemberI have talked with the folks at AffActive – This term will NOT be retroactive. I have asked them to place a statement in the terms which will clearly state this fact.

January 14, 2013 at 9:35 am #831517archerpMemberHey,
few things:
Never had an intention to make any retroactive changes. We never done that and not planning to do so in the future.
muffincrumbs – you won’t need to pay for players withdrawals. we still have no negative policy- therefore in case of a big winner you are pretected and you will start the next month with a clean sheet. The only case where it will be applied is when the earnings are generated from “virtual deposits” so to speak.
Example will suit best: you have a player that deposits $2,000 and wins $20,000. The next month he looses all $22,000 and due to no negative carryover policy we will have to pay rev-share from $22,000 while the player actually lost only $2000. In that case this rule will apply and you will earn from the actual players losses, which is $2000.Hi Dominique, please let me know if it answered your question as well…
Best regards,

Best regards,
Danieldoesn’t it depend on the withdrawal schedule?
Seems one could be negative for a few months.January 15, 2013 at 8:50 am #831547archerpMemberHi,
It’s mainly for cases where the player doesn’t withdraw but playing it back the next month. It can be that he plays part 1 month and part the month after, but usually players either withdraw or play it back in a relatively short time.
