May 12, 2007 at 11:40 am #736517vladcizsolMemberEspecially ominous is they are being prosecuted under RICO statutes which makes sentencing severe.
RICO is SUPPOSED to be reserved for organized crime but in recent years has been twisted by the justice department to really hammer people and seize all their assets and impose stiff sentences.
:plain:May 12, 2007 at 12:22 pm #736521winsernMemberThey should have gone the extra step and not had any company affiliations in their name, thus the only indictments are “ghost” in another country, good luck prosecuting that….. wonder about betus. and what will happen, i have seen them around…. frog

I hope Americans will have had enough with 8 years of tyranical oppression and a government thats only set up to serve special interests like big oil and the defense industry.
Its time to take our country back.

Flash Back to 1989. In another 5 years we will find ourselves in the same Ecomomic position as the old USSR was just before the collapse. No longer is the US the only “Major” Econ power. Now we have EU and China to deal with. Our trade Deficit to China will greatly comprimise dwindling this record setting National Deficit which we now find ourself in.
I feel the only good thing that will come out of this Admin. Is we realize what happens when the wrong people get into the Executive office. Congress should immediatly look to removing some of the power held at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I’m not saying Bush is the worst guy we “Could Have” had in office. But imagine the worse guy you can as President, would you want him to wield the same sword which Bush has had over the last 6? If the answer is no, we need to draw the executive strings back.
