Hi Renee,
Are the $60K Giveaway opt-ins tracked back to the affiliate account that referred them when you guys send out any promos to these opt-ins?
If not they should be.
Also on the top 10 casino page it still say’s “55k Giveaway”.
Thanks

while somewhat on this subject …. when was the last progressive hit at a CR casino? I seem to recall it was golden tiger but can’t remember the game or the amount.
I’m writing an article which needs this info is why I’m asking. thanks in advance

SlotplayerI have answered this question in another thread previously:
Renee wrote:our system always works with the player getting credited/linked to the last affiliate tag they clicked on. So in this case they will be credited to the affiliate that sent them to the casino for that casino. If another affiliate sent them to another of our brands then that affiliate will get credit for that casino and so on.May 11, 2007 at 12:18 am #736359AnonymousInactivebb1webs wrote:Hi Renee, while somewhat on this subject …. when was the last progressive hit at a CR casino? Hey S
Had the major $1.7M go off on NYE at Captain Cooks Casino.
Since then we’ve had 32 progressives > $10K go off.
In May we have so far had two go off:On the 8th of May — $74K – Casino Classic
On the 9th of May — $26K – Captain Cooks CasinoLet me know if you need anything else.
Cheers
PS Thanks

thanks for the quick response
but I’m not asking about tracking cookies or I am not understanding it correctly. Most affiliate programs credit the last referrer. I’m asking about opt-ins.
Assume a visitor clicks on an affiliate link and visits a CR property, they enter the $60k giveaway, but do not download or register at the casino.
Assume two weeks later, CR emails them a promotional offer, inside the email is a link to a casino, is that link tracked to any affiliate at all?
Thanks,

thanks Darea,
the post is what I was looking for but a little old, almost 12 months old.
Actually the play-4-free top 10 casinos didn’t track (for me anyway) until I mentioned it to one of the CR managers a few months back and it was fixed.Personally, I’d like to see the giveaway opt-ins tracked to the referring affiliate, I know other programs do it. When checking my stats one day I noticed a campaign id I did not create that resulted in a big player and asked the AM about it and they said it was from an email promo they sent out that tracked back to me, now I promote them even more.
Cheers,
