One note on your site, it takes a long time to load. Anyone still on dial-up or with little patience will not take the time for the page to load. It looks like you have a lot of graphic files. I would work on minimizing the size of your homepage.

In addition, some of the links you have listed do not point to what I think you want them to point to. For example, your “top poker rooms” link points to the homepage. I assume you would like that link to point to a list of top poker rooms?

That’s interesting, i have 11 pictures/banners on the home page, which is not alot, and those buttons are very small in file size, don’t know why it would take normal than usual time to load, and i checked that “top poker rooms” link and it points to the top poker rooms page, is it possible you clicked the wrong link, or can i get a 2nd opinion on that, because it’s working fine for me.

Ok, i got it, the link on the actual homepage, i was looking on the poker site, thanks, i’ll run a check through

What is all this with the slow loading, damn those buttons, i don’t want to get rid of them, they look so nice.

I must confess, i have not experienced any slow loading, either because of my cable connection, or because i’m on the site more frequently.

I will try to downsize the picture files, but i have some problems, i can’t upload bitmap images, so i convert them, then edit/resize them, then the size of the file increases dramatically, even when i make the picture smaller.

If there is one particular section or picture that takes noticeably longer to load, i will attempt to fix it, if anybody can point it out to me.

I did have text originally on the menu, and then changed it to flashing buttons, just to give it a more Vegas feel.

Is it just the 1st page that loads slowly, or is it the same with all the pages ?

I think the background image makes the site loads slow too, and if you convert the pictures make sure you use 70-80% quality jpg as conversion type or in the case of the buttons they can be of max 16 colors gif (like Visit, Preview buttons).
I have 3Mbit/sec connection and also encounter the slow page load.

It was actually your site that inspired me to change the layout/design of mine, even though they look very different, i was kinda building mine off of your design, keeping it open in a seperate window for reference, i don’t know if you should feel honoured or what.
