Hi all,
Well, I really didn’t want to do this as I have been working on building up these sites, however, today I was f’ing robbed! I came home and everything is gone, including a load of cash I had in my office that was supposed to pay this month’s rent and food for about 2 weeks! I have literally a dollar to my name until the second week in January and I don’t know what I am going to do. I called the police right away and they took a report and said “Well we can’t give you your money back.” I know this but I am so screwed right now….it’s not even funny. I am sorry to hold a pity party here, but I wanted to give a detailed reason as to why I am selling the following sites:
http://www.dating-on-net.com PR2 registered in September of 2004, it does have 8 backlinks according to: http://www.widexl.com/remote/link-popularity/index.html )
but most are not showing yet. I had this site for 2 years and have just recently started developing it…. it used to redirect to a dating site which was through dating rev (aff program) You can see what that looked like in alexa’s way back machine here: http://web.archive.org/web/20040917073309/http://www.dating-on-net.com/
The site has originally written tips for online dating and a forum which was just being developed. My wife and I only started re-developing, designing and promoting the site a week ago, the statistics from that are here: http://www.dating-on-net.com/don.bmp
I really feel that if this site is properly marketed, it could make a good profit. The next site for offer is
http://www.gamervein.com PR2
backlinks: 924 ( according to
http://www.widexl.com/remote/link-popularity/index.html )The theme is gaming, online skill and tournament games but can easily be remarketed to video games, etc. On google the top keyword is tournament games and similiar for the home page. The forum, which has a free arcade, gets a lot of hits from google for most topics within it. I just bought this site in October and it was originally registered in May 2006. The traffic for this month was: 740 unique visitors with no traffic buys or ppc campaign. See details here: http://www.gamervein.com/gamervein.bmp and here: http://www.gamervein.com/gamervein1.bmp
If anyone is interested, we promise a quick and painless transfer. Gamervein.com is registered at godaddy.com and so you will get a free push, dating-on-net is registered at Domainspricedright.com which will also be a free push where all you need to do is register a new account with them (if you don’t already have one) and forward me your details for transfer.
There is currently no income generated from these two sites, however, as I said before, they both have been just newly redone and promoted. I really do believe that both would be a good investment for the right buyer. I will be accepting ANY reasonable offer for the next 2 days, so please pm me with an offer if interested. Thank you and again, sorry for the pity party…but this sucks!

Man that SUCKS! I’ve always thought that must be the utmost voilation on one’s being. I’m glad that your family and friends came through for you. Hang in there, I’m a firm believer in karma.:yinyang:

Hey thanks thanks a lot for your well wishes, Nauti
It really was a huge violation and my wife is really upset! I must agree about the karma thing though….as the old saying goes “What goes around comes around!”December 31, 2006 at 2:15 am #720393AnonymousInactiveThat sucks, I know how it feels like to get broken into. A person feels violated. It’s also frustrating to know that people get away with breaking into other peoples homes and stealing all the time because there’s never anyone who investigates this.
Luckily for me it hasen’t happened to me now in over 6 years, but it used to be a regular occurance so I do feel for you.
December 31, 2006 at 1:05 pm #720431AnonymousInactiveLong time ago a burglar broke in and I was in the house. Thankfully he was non violent and just a thief and left when I confronted him. ( Yep, I was young and feisty and just came out of the bedroom and started to walk towards him, talking, and kept walking right into him so he ended up backing up towards the door and out the door. At first he seemed shocked when he saw me and then confused when I just walked right into him.)
Ever since I have two large dogs. Yes, dogs can be shot or poisoned, but why bother and risk detection when the next house is nice and quiet? Works for me, plus I enjoy the unconditional love and companionship the dogs bring to my life.
December 31, 2006 at 8:30 pm #720456AnonymousInactiveThanks guys.
You know, my wife was sleeping and I was at work when they came in. It was really messed up but I am thankful they didn’t harm her!
Dom, yes, dogs seem like the way to go, they most certainly will atleast warn us of intruders. It’s a shame people have to live like this….but shit happens :plain:
