A few months ago Bwin made it public that it was going to invest heavily into the Social Media games space and were looking for companies to partner with.
Well, they did just that with one of the biggest companies in that space, Zynga. And this is just what Zynga needs to get quickly into the real money online gaming space and prop up their sinking stock price.
Even though it’s for now an agreement just for offering poker and casino in the United Kingdom, this is sure to be a pre cursor to expanding globally.
How Can Affiliates Benefit?
Depending on how they set up the affiliate programs for both companies, affiliates could make money on both sides of the coin. Affiliates could sign up for Bewinners, the affiliate program for Bwin and if Zynga starts it’s own affiliate program, they could take advantage of that company as well.
Also, as recommended by iGaming Affiliate & Founder of Casino Media, David Merry in the CAP webinar this week, it’s best to develop affiliate brands that are specifically targeted to niches in the industry. Social gaming could very well be that next big lucrative niche for affiliates.
