We are excited to spotlight CAP’s Community Member of the Month for July 2012… Congratulations xecutable! xecutable has been a great member of the Community since March 2010. He is always willing to share his experiences, information and help other members here on CAP.
We caught up with him to learn more about the community member of the month!
1. Where are you based?
I currently live in Bulgaria, Europe, but my permanent address is in the United States.
2. Tell us about your site(s).
My first website is e-sportbets.org and it was found back in August 2009. It’s consisted from Football (soccer) betting tips, sportsbook reviews, free bets and other useful gambling information like glossary, live streaming schedules, gambling articles etc. This August I will be celebrating 3 years of its creation and I am very satisfied with the results and what the site has brought me.
3. How did you get started in the iGaming industry?
In a quite weird way. I was very much into forex trading at that time, and was reading a post in a forum and some guy posted that he was making 500€ a month as an affiliate for a bookmaker, and it’s like something inside my head clicked ‘That’s what I wanna do’. Within 2 days bought a domain, a host and started writing.
4. What’s your favorite thing about being in the industry?
There are so many…. adjustable working time, the ability to live anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. Being able to work for myself and make a living has been my goal #1 ever since I was 14, but it happened some 13 years later.
5. Where will you be in five years?
Five years is a lot of time ahead. If we take that the world ends in December 2012, I will be where everybody will be in 5 years. Just kidding. I’d like to believe that I will be in a very good spot in the industry in 5 years and things will be going according to my plans.
6. What is your drink?
I don’t drink a lot, mostly milk! Occasionally a beer or two.
7. What is the coolest thing you have ever done?
Hmmm, I don’t think that’s a question with one answer. There are so many things I’ve done, some of the coolest at least to me at least are: I swam with dolphins in a Dolphinarium, I have jumped from a few cliffs around the beach from around 11-12m height, stuff like that. I’ve always lived around the beach/ocean so yeah most of the things I’ve done involve water.
8. What excites you?
Heaven like places. Places with a white sand beach, big palms and crystal clear water. Bora Bora is #1 priority on my list, even writing the name excites me.
9. What do you do for fun?
Mostly play Football, spend time swimming on the beach, also fishing.
10. Name your favorite city.
I don’t have a favorite city. In fact I don’t have a favorite team, place, food or anything. I guess I can’t like something that much. I did however like Barcelona, I was once in London, Rome seemed nice as well. I think each has something that the others don’t therefor it’s impossible to choose just one.
11. What is your biggest life accomplishment to date?
The ability be a free and happy person. Free means to be financially and emotionally independent from anyone, to be able to live wherever you like and do whatever you want to do. Happy means to not worry about the problems and only focus on the end result and to not rest until you get there.
