Frank Fahrenkopf/Geoff Freeman
The American Gaming Association tends to represent the interests of the big land-based casinos in the regulated gaming fight and Frank Fahrenkopf was their main man for decades. Fahrenkopf has fought tirelessly so that AGA members could compete in an Internet-heavy market.
Given the number of big partnerships between name brand online operators and land-based biggies, we’d say he did a pretty good job.
Now that Fahrenkopf is moving on, the job of representing the big boys’ interests falls to Mr. Geoff Freeman. Freeman’s background is more about representing industry associations than specifically representing the gambling business but, given the nature of his job, that should work out just fine. As the American online market grows, Freeman can expect to keep very busy in his new role.
