US iGaming: Who Are the Major Players?

In all likelihood Bally Technologies is going to be the first company to receive an American online gaming license. In early June the Nevada Gaming Control Board gave their official recommendation for approval and Bally’s application is now set to go before the Gaming Commission.
Just to be clear, Bally Technologies is not affiliated with Bally’s Resort and Casino. This Ballys makes the back end software that licensed online poker sites will be running.
Bally Technologies recently acquired Chiligaming, a European gaming platform, though that move is not expected to impact their hearing with the Gaming Commission.
