February 18, 2010 (CAP Newswire) – Continuing the trend of online gaming brands that are getting more ambitious in their business-to-business (B2B) strategies, Unibet has just launched a new B2B arm and already signed a significant first deal, with a major Finnish gambling company.
The deal is for three years, and is with Ålands Penningautomatförening, or Paf, “the only provider licensed to offer online gambling after Fintoto, which offers racing betting, the Finnish Slot Machine Association (RAY), which was recently granted permission to offer online casino and poker, and state lottery Veikkhaus Oy, which also offers pools and fixed odds sports betting, online scratch cards and online bingo,” according to eGaming Review.
The deal will consist of Unibet developing a proprietary in-house system for fixed-odds betting for Paf, which will in turn also partner in SuperToto and SuperScore, Unibet’s popular sports betting pool products.
Europe-based online gaming affiliates should take note: The deal is almost certain to enhance Unibet’s brand recognition throughout Northern Europe. For information on Unibet’s online gaming affiliate program, click here. To read more about this news at eGaming Review, click here.
