Today, UB.com’s ultimate poker tournament kicks off: UBOC6 is offering players $5 million in guarantees and prizes.
But that’s just part of the “good times” the poker site has in store for 2011, including “a new focus” and “a revamped Team UB”, company reps stated in a news release.
“Along with 29 guaranteed tournaments and an overall prize pool in excess of $5 Million in cash and prizes, UBOC6 ushers in the return of a killer tournament line-up, Pro Bounties, UBOC Champions Watches for every UBOC tourney winner, plus the Bubble Buster promotion, where staying in the game after the ‘Bubble’ bursts is worth thousands of Event Dollars to players,” the release continued.
The release also details a new element in the UBOC6 poker tournament lineup: The UBOC # 16, a “High Roller NLH Deep Stack event on Sunday, January 23rd at 17:00 ET.” The event is a $2000+100 buy-in with a $750K guaranteed prize pool, and UB.com expects it to attract many “top pros and the best online poker players to the UB tables as they vie for a share of the lucrative prize money.”
