This is the Year American Online Poker Takes Off…
Will regulated online poker in the United States ever take off? Given the trickle of revenue in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware; along with the Federal Government’s inability to craft a national regulatory scheme, that seems unlikely.
Americans, it seems, are very reluctant to sit down at home to enjoy an evening of perfectly legal online gambling.
Is it because sign-ups and deposits are a hassle? Is it because PayPal still isn’t part of the new, legal poker scene? Maybe it’s because the online poker industry’s core American player base is still feeling the sting from Black Friday?
Whatever the case, American online poker is off to a very slow start and there’s not much hope that things will catch on fire in 2014.
