#7 – Zynga Moves to TroubleVille
At the dawn of 2012 social gaming giant Zynga was already reeling from an IPO that went straight into the tank. Wall Street investors just weren’t so high on Zynga’s long term prospects for earning revenue…and things got worse from there.
As the year dragged on, Zynga’s stock continued plummeting and a good chunk of their executive staff hit the road, permanently. It was hardly the year the CityVille creator imagined, but they seem to have a plan for bouncing back.
Zynga is taking a serious run at the real money gaming market in the UK and has started the arduous process of obtaining a Nevada gaming license.
