Scratch the surface of every high profile gambling arrest and you’ll find a ton of low-level players like Ryan Lang.
Lang doesn’t have the financial resources that Ray Bitar had and wound up pleading guilty to a few charges related to financial wrongdoing and is looking at 30 years behind bars.
If Lang winds up doing time in a Federal facility, he might run into similar fall guys who chased after quick bucks and got burned. The good news for guys like Lang, and the co-conspirators in the Pinnacle case, is that they are so low-profile that their roles in these cases are likely to be forgotten, even by Internet search engines. (Sorry Ryan, we’ll quit writing about you now.)
