Generative AI audio leverages Sportradar’s aggregated data stream to provide sportsbooks with real-time, personalized advertising aimed at their customers. More specifically, Generative AI is meant to be used to reach live bettors while games are still taking place.
Niki Beier, SVP Marketing Services described the service in a recent statement to the media saying, “Sports fans and bettors are increasingly consuming audio content, with listenership increasing by over 1000% in the past seven years . To deliver maximum marketing efficiency, we’re providing a sophisticated yet simple-to-use solution to sportsbook and casino operators. Through our gen AI technology, we’re making it easy for clients to integrate audio adverts into their acquisition and branding campaigns, to reach more customers with real-time relevant audio messages, without the need for creative teams or a high production budget.”
Sportradar’s embrace of AI-generated advertising comes on the heels of its recent rollout of a paid feature. These enhancements are the work of Sportradar’s hiring of Behshad Behzadi as its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. Behzadi spent 18 years at Google’s AI division and is clearly bringing that skill set to Sportradar.
AI is still in its infancy but it’s clear the technology will have a huge impact on paid search and content generation for operators and affiliates alike. There’s no question that this type of technology will be very much the norm within a couple of years.
