It’s no surprise that Nevada and New Jersey were the first two US states to jump on the online gambling bandwagon. What has been surprising is the speed at which they’ve moved. Barely 18 months after the Christmas Gift, Nevada was already licensing operators, software providers and affiliates.
The road to online gambling hasn’t been quite as smooth in New Jersey, but progress is steady nonetheless. The Garden State promises to be the Silicon Valley of the online gambling world, but Nevada has a decidedly more organized gambling infrastructure.
